A PLEASED SMILE stretched across [y/n]'s face as she sat down in her seat, loosening the scarf around her neck with a relieved sigh.
It was the night of the match between blue lock and Japan's U-20 team, and she didn't want to draw too much attention. However, she also knew it would be difficult with a stadium full of soccer fans.
Her usual sunglasses and baseball cap combination would stick out like a sore thumb at an evening game, so she instead settled for a beanie, a pair of fake eyeglasses (or take off if reader has glasses), and a scarf to suit the chillier weather.
The disguise worked surprisingly well, and aside from from a few dedicated fans here and there who managed to recognize her, she managed to slip under the radar of most.
The kid that sat besides her though, was one of the few exceptions. He stared at her for a while, pursing his lips pursuing as if though he'd figure something out before tugging on his mom's sleeve.
"Mom, mom," he cried, nearly bouncing off his seat by the time the older woman looked over.
"Yes dear?"
"Look." He jabbed his finger at the [h/c] girl, causing her to give him a weird look while the mom tried to pull his hand down. "It's [y/n]! I saw her on television."
Immediately at the sound of her name, all eyes within the vicinity turned to the boy and then to her, whispering to one another.
"She does look a lot like [y/n]."
"[y/n]'s here? Like, as in [y/n] [l/n]?"
"Seriously?? Where?"
"Omg omgg omggg, like the love of my life [y/n] [l/n]?"
"Did he just say [y/n]?"
At the little boy's accusation, [y/n] gave him a dismissive smile. "Don't be silly. If I was [y/n], why would I be sitting in general admissions?"
"I guess that's true," he nodded as many disappointed sighs were released in response to her explanation. However, they everyone soon went back to what they were doing before, which mostly consisted of talking about the anticipated match.
[y/n] glanced back at the boy, the sight of his disapointed frown tugging at her heart tug a little for it reminded her of [b/n]'s younger self. Thus, against her best logic, she lowered her voice to a quiet whisper and tried to comfort him. "But! I'm actually great friends with her, so you can tell me anything and I'll relay it to her."
