Solving the Mystery of You is a young adult romance and fantasy novel with the hint of a little bit of mystery. It is a stand alone book but it has a sequel. However, it is not necessary to read this book to understand the plot of the other one. This novel is set in both the magical and in the human world, following the journey of the three main characters. Raven, a noble vampire who, with the help of Jane, an immortal witch and fairy hybrid, is training Lilith, who was dragged into the magical world by an unknown offender. The Leaders trust Raven to find out who killed and inducted Lilith into their world, which is what starts the plot.
The main rules of the magical world:
• The only way a human can cross the magical world's border is by asking beforehand for permission from the leaders. This also applies to half-magical creatures.
(The leaders are the largest and most powerful group of magical creatures, they rule the magical world together and they enforce the laws.)
• It is forbidden to turn anyone into a vampire or any immortal creature. The only exception is if your reason to turn them is that they're dying or they have been dead for a few seconds/ minutes. This one is accepted, but only if the person who is turned is under the age of 35 or if it is a unique situation, but in this case the person who turned them has to be ready to face the leaders and prove their innocence. Also, the person who turned the other one, has to be responsible for their creation and they have to train them and teach them both worlds' rules. If they commit a violation, both of them must appear at their trial and face the consequences. This rule also applies to guardian angels, in a sense that they cannot bring back anyone to life if these rules do not apply to their situation. Of course it is a bit different in their case.
• Newly turned creatures cannot go near humans for at least 1-2 months. Depending on their behavior and species it can be a longer or shorter period of time.
Now that you are familiar with some of the most important rules, I would like to give you an idea of what my characters are like. Of course it is not mandatory to read this, it is understandable if you would like to imagine them in your own way.
Lilith: She's a pretty awkward individual, but still very lovely. She's the troublemaker of the group, but surely not on purpose.(She has average height and weight, pale skin, shoulder length black hair and red eyes, though in her human life she had dark chocolate brown eyes)
Raven: She's the one who solves the problems that are caused by Lilith. She's more experienced in their lifestyle and she's unbelievably patient with Lilith. Although, she gets annoyed easily by others..
(Average height, a bit taller than Lilith and Jane, but you wouldn't really notice, she has an olive skin color and almost waist length light brown hair and dark brown eyes)
Jane: By how she looks I'm sure everyone would assume she's a real rail of sunshine, but she's not. She's really sweet, but not with everyone. She's not the type to curse or to get into fights , but you surely would not want to be on her bad side. I won't tell you why though, but don't worry you will find out soon enough.
(Average height, but a bit chubby, fair skin, mid length natural red hair and bright green eyes)
I can assure you they're far more exciting creatures then what you might assume at first, but I will let you figure that one out on your own..
