Y/n's pov:

I woke up to the sound of an alarm and the pouring rain outside, I reached for my phone to see that it wasn't the one that had the alarm blaring this early, I gently shook Jenna so she could wake up and turn the alarm off. Her eyes slowly opened as she also heard the noise coming from her own phone, she reached over for it and turned the alarm off, with a sigh her head dropped back into the pillow, she hugged my arm as she wanted to get some more sleep, I kept shaking her slowly "Jenn, sunshine it's time to wake up" as I said this her eyes slowly fluttered open, as soon as she saw me a small smile made its way to her face "Morning handsome, what's up?" she said cuddling closer to me.

"We have at least two hours before we go to the airport, I was thinking we could grab a coffee as we leave" I suggested, she sat up and looked me dead in the eyes, "Y/n, I'd love to, you could ask me to drive off a cliff with you and I'd agree, as long as we are together" she said smiling before getting off the bed, as she ran towards the bathroom she stopped and looked at me, "You can join me in the shower if you want, but it's now or never lover boy" as soon as she finished her sentence I heard my phone ringing. "I'd love to sunshine but I gotta take this" I said holding my phone up, she nodded with a smile and walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her.

I slowly stepped outside, today in particular felt like a cold New York morning as I saw the name displayed on the screen I sighed and answered it. "Hey Sades, how's it going?" I asked looking at the ground, "Oh hey Y/n, I just wanted to know if you're still in New York" She said a little bit shaky, was she nervous? I can't tell. "Umm, we're actually leaving in a few hours" I said as my eyes went wide as I realized that I said 'we' instead of 'I', I facepalmed myself so hard she heard me over the phone, "Are you okay? D-did you get hurt?" She asked concerned, I sighed as I rubbed my forehead. "Yeah, I'm okay, just forgot that there's a glass door between the room and the balcony, but it's all okay" I lied, I hated lying to her but at least she focused on that instead of me blowing up the cover of not being alone, "So uhh, you wanted to meet up in New York? Is it okay if I ask why?" I asked, hearing the bathroom door open. "Uhh yeah, I just got to the city and wanted to know if you'd like to go get some coffee and talk if you've got some time to spare" She said, I looked and saw Jenna getting dressed, she saw me staring and waved at me with a smile, I waved back.

"Sure, let's grab a coffee, is it cool with you if we go somewhere near the airport? y'know, 'cause of the luggage" I said as I walked into the room, Jenna and I looked at each other, "Y-yeah, there's a small cafe near the airport, I'll send you the address and meet you there in let's say 40 minutes?" She said as I grabbed a towel and walked towards the bathroom. "Yeah, sounds good, hey Sades is it okay if I bring someone with me? We have the same flight and we're gonna stick together until then" I replied as I closed the bathroom door, "Y-yeah it's okay, I was hoping it'll be just the two of us, but if you're gonna fly to California together then sure. I'll meet you there" She spoke with a hint of dissapointment in her voice, "Sweet, we'll meet you there, gotta go Sades" I hung up and striped down, I opened the hot water since it's basically 68° outside.

After the shower I stepped out of the bathroom and quickly dressed up, as Jenna and I exited the room I decided to explain her the plan for today. "Hey sunshine, uhh we're gonna meet a friend at a cafe near the airport is it okay with you?" I asked as we got into the elevator, I pressed for the lobby and turned to look at her, "Yeah, as long as we get some coffee, I need the caffeine" She said as I chuckled, we reached the lobby and made our way to the receptionist to check out and give them our pair of room keys, as Jenna was giving the receptionist the keys to the room she and her mom were staying in originally I called an uber and enter the address Sadie sent me, Jenna made her way back to me and held my hand as we waited for the uber to arrive. Once it arrived we made our way outside, I helped the driver put our stuff in the trunk, Jenna was already seating in the backseat, I sat very close to her intertwining our fingers as the driver got in and started driving.
