"Gulf's POV... (After a few weeks)

As always, I was waiting for my hubby—oops, boyfriend—to come home, kiss me, and cuddle with me. I know it may sound cringe, but I always want to hug him and stay with him all the time. I'm crazy over him.

I was preparing his favorite meal when he walked in, and Mama was also there, and I could sense they were very happy. I think Mew is going to propose to me for marriage.

"What happened?" I asked excitingly standing there when he hugged me in front of his mom, and the lady also smiled.

At first, she used to warn me about Mew's toxicity, and I know he's toxic, but still, I love my Mew so nothing can separate us—at least not me. So, even she understood that we are made for each other.

"We have good news for you," his mom said, and I smiled widely as I was so excited.

"Mew got a wonderful offer to work in Australia." When I heard that, I wasn't disappointed, although I expected something else, but even then I was over the moon because Mew has been preparing for this for the past two years. After two years, he cracked the exams, and now I think he got the offer too.

"What! Wow," this was my first reaction, and I hugged Mom-in-law tightly.

"Oh my gosh, I'm very proud of you, hubby," I hugged my baby too, giving him a kiss.

After that, we celebrated this good news with a wonderful dinner, and then Mew's mom looked at me.

"Mew, take care of yourself there, and baby G, you can live with me for the time Mew works there. It's just six months, after that, he will stay with you." What? What does she mean?

"Aren't we going there together?" I looked at Mew, and his smile faded as he looked at my face.

"N-no, it's not allowed."

"O-ok," I acted normal even though I never want him to go away.

"Don't be sad, it's just six months. You can stay with me. We will have a lot of fun," Mew's mom said, and I just looked down. I can't stay without him. Nooooo.

Next morning...

We were shopping for Mew as he will leave for Australia tomorrow when a lady with a cute baby sat down beside me.

"Omo, can I hold your baby? Please, please," I asked, and smiling, she handed me her baby. The baby looks different as the lady is a white person while the baby is brown.

"Your baby is so cute and adorable. He must be like his dad?" I asked, and her smile immediately disappeared.

"No, he doesn't have any dad. His dad just forgot us."

"What do you mean?"

"Actually, his dad went to do a project last year, and from then, he never came back as he married another lady there, and that's why we are alone now," she said while trying to hold her tears.

"I-I'm sorry for you. Anyways, don't be sad. One day your baby will be your strength," I said, and then I saw Mew was walking towards me, so I immediately walked away from there as Mew has strictly told me not to talk with anyone.

While walking back home, something struck my mind when Mew spoke...

"I'm so excited to go there. I won't ever call you," Mew smirked, looking away while laughing, and then my overthinking ass began to think bad. I know he must be teasing, but I don't want it to get real.

Next day, Mew was right in front of us, and Mew's mom was crying out of happiness. Mew hugged me for the last time, wiping his tears, and finally, he turned around and opened his bag to pull out his visa.

"Mom, where's my visa and passport?" he said, checking his pocket, and his mom also began to check.

"Gulf, I saw you checking that... where's it?" His mom asked, and I didn't say anything; all I could do is cry.

"Gulf, it's not the time to be emotional. Give him his visa," his mom yelled.

"I-I kept it at home," I said when the lady raised her hands to slap me, and Mew held her hands back.

"Mom, no, please. Baby, please give it to me. I want to go there, please. I badly need this job," he said while crying, cupping my cheeks, and I shook my head, trying to control my tears. I won't let him go away.

"Gulf, please. He has worked hard for it," the lady began to cry, begging me.

"Baby, please," Mew said.

"N-no, Mew, Mew," I said, looking down when he wiped his tears, sighing.

"Gulf, give it to him, Gulf. Even you have invested a large amount in his course. Please," she grabbed my collar when Mew held her back again.

"Mom, no, please no," he said, and finally, with all the drama, we returned back from the airport.

"Stop the car," his mom said, and the driver stopped it.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going back, and don't ever show me your face and you too," she glared at me and walked out.

"Stay here," Mew said and walked out. After sometime, he returned back and sat down beside me.

I held his hands, and he looked at me with a straight face.

"Don't be angry at me, please. Tell mom I'm sorry," I said.

"Don't worry, she was already going to go back to hometown because granny is alone there. She's not angry, she's just upset with us," he smiled, holding my hands.

"And what about you? Are you angry?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Nope, baby, it's okay. Let it be," he said, but I can see he's really disappointed, but whatever happens, I can't let him go away from me. I only have him, only him, and in no way I would lose my only person.

Reaching home, he was still talking to his mom when I entered the room.

"Okay, mom, I will call you later. Bye, love you," saying that, he hung up the call and raised his hands for a hug. I jumped in and hugged him while crying.

"Thanks, I know I ruined your career," I said.

"It's okay, I still have many years, and I'm working too, and even you have money too, so I can manage. My sugar baby," I finally got all of my property last year, so of course it's easier for us to have everything now. I won't let him feel poor anymore. I always give some amount to him. Earlier he used to say no, but I blackmailed him, so he takes it now.

"I will, my hubby, my everything is yours. I won't ever let you feel poor and helpless," I said smiling, and with that, we finally sat down together. I called his mom and apologized, and unlike the morning, she sounded calm as Mew must have persuaded her.
