I hope you read the warnings in the description. Gets dark at the end.

"If I got rid of my demons, I'd lose my angels."

Third POV

"This isn't a partnership Lilith. I'm the King of Hell and you're just a demon."

"Just a demon... I'm the first demon ever. You, on the other hand, are what... the third Archangel?"

"You know I'm the second oldest. Raphael is the third." Lucifer scowled at her.

"Oh, only the second?" Lilith sassed.

"You-"

Lucifer was cut off from arguing as a shrill scream vibrated throughout Hell. Many demons stopped working to look toward their rulers. The scream quieted and turned into loud sobs, and the demons waited for one of their rulers to make a command of what to do.

"What the here is that?" Lucifer growled, annoyed that Lilith had, by default, won the argument.

"It sounds like something after labor." Lilith joked.

"Lilith it couldn't be. Demons don't desire to spawn, though if one accidentally does, we'd get notified."

"It sounds like a baby. Do you think a demon kidnapped a child... again?" Lilith mussed. "It's your responsibility if they did, oh King of Hell." She said smugly.

Lucifer just rolled his eyes and headed out of the room in search of the demonic screeching. As if on cue, several demons jumped out of their seats, too excited to stay still any longer. Lilith gave them an unimpressed look, but she too was curious and headed through the corridor of Hell after Lucifer.

Lucifer POV

I followed the wailing as best I could with the way it echoed through the halls. Note to self, get wall dampening installed in this section of Hell.

I continued down the hall with demons following in the shadows. Nosey creatures, still so human, awful.

I came upon a horde of demons in a large circular mob. They were pushing and whispered yelling going on. Snapping my fingers wasn't working, for once, so I brought my fingers to my lips and gave a long sharp whistle. Every single one of them froze and took a step back making gaps for me to see through. It wasn't much but I could see something small in the middle. Probably the source of the shrill, it would have to go.

Making my way forward, the demons moved fluidly out of my way like they were hydrophobic and I was water. Good.

Once I got to the front, my proud smile slipped at what I saw.

Lilith POV

I made it to the noise and saw Lucifer moving gracefully through the demons. I had to admit, he wore power well. Of course, I wore it better. What is a King without a Queen to keep him in line, even when he thinks everything was his idea?

I saw his narcissistic smirk slip from his face as he reached the center. Curious...

"Oh, my dad!?" Lucifer exclaimed breathlessly. Seems serious.

"What is it, my lord?" I inquired as I slowly walked up to stand beside him.

"Lilith..." He spoke slowly.
