Abhi's POV:

"Make sure to check if putani is doing fine...I hope she isn't sick, but why would she apply for sick leave if not for health issues....", ma kept rambling and everything I did was hmmm at her every sentence.

I don't know what magic that rakshasi has spelled on my parents...anyway she will come to the office today, so I can see if she was actually sick or not.

At Office:

When I first went to my cabin, I saw that Cherishya has logged into the system...so I thought of speaking to her during the coffee break.

During the coffee break, I checked everywhere but just couldn't spot her...I was absolutely surprised because she would always be the first from the unit to be present at the canteen during these breaks...But then who cares if she haves her coffee or not.

After the break, Manish came to my cabin and was telling me how he found Karna yesterday in a cafe with a girl...At first, I didn't believe it at all because Karna had promised me recently that he would stop flirting with the girls and solely concentrate on his career but then he showed me the picture that he had clicked...and just then Vinutha too joined my cabin...She starred at the photo for a few seconds and told, "I think this is Shravya...Cherry's friend, I'm her friend on Instagram" and with that, it just clicked me that it was the same girl with whom this idiotic subordinate of mine had come and insulted me long back at.

After talking for a while they both exited my cabin and again we met at the canteen during lunch break and we were excited to talk to Karna about his coffee date with shravya and tease him like never before...Hey, then I felt like Cherishya might know about this since Shravya is her friend...but I would not ask this arrogant brat at any cost.

While we were having lunch Vinutha saw Cherishya and called her name...she reached our table taking cat steps as though we would eat her...

I stared at her...observing if she is sick or unwell but she rather looked flustered and was blabbering stupid things and almost ran out of the canteen...but my stupid friends gave me a confusing look which I gladly ignored.

But as I sat in my cabin...I felt like talking to Cherishya once about why she was acting indifferent towards my mother and I wanted to tell her not to feel any different with my mom considering me her son...Also, I wanted to notify her to train her batchmates because they are quite unaware of any risk-oriented tasks so I mailed her to bring me a report.

Right after an hour Charan came to my cabin with her file and told me that Cherishya asked him to submit it to me along with his...I just nodded and dismissed him. I was really fuming, I mean how dare she violate the orders from a senior officer?? Is she that indiscipline or has she taken me for granted?? Just because she has befriended my parents doesn't mean she can misbehave and violate the norms of our academy and department so I called and asked her to come to my cabin immediately.

I was really riled up, so I didn't talk to her for a minute...just to calm myself and not say anything very harsh...recently Manish pointed out how I treated this woman rudely and the rest of the team differently...so I don't want him to give me another lecture on the same issue.

And then she meekly called me, to which I asked " So finally now madam is free to come to my cabin huh?", to which she didn't respond and it looked like she was scared...but when did this 'jambhadh koli' [translates to ' overproud hen'] started to fear...

I again asked her why did she not report to me herself, which she tried to justify by telling me how she was busy fixing a bug...Sometimes she poses as if she is the only employee working for our unit...such a showoff queen, but I was really angry because if she does the same with something confidential then I would be held responsible for the possible misdeeds...So I shouted at her telling her how she should have been responsible.
