All's Fair in love and War; Part Three

Riding their car out to a small town Joey couldn't help but be a little nervous as he looked at the people walking by and knowing from their scents that they were humans "So you're telling me some war hero werewolf stays out here in this area?" He asked as Nathan nodded "I had called Jackson like you suggested on our way over here, he said there's a guy here that keeps a few men here to keep this area on lock from the sages." Nathan said while Joey sighed and still seeing the nervousness Nathan gave him a playful punch on the shoulder.

"Calm down man, you're acting like this guy is gonna chew us up and spit us out or some-" Nathan said as he was quickly cut off by men jumping in front of his car as Joey looked at him with an annoyed looked while Nathan laughed nervously "You were saying?" Joey said as they yanked out of the car and bagged and thrown into the backseat of the car.

After moments of what felt like driving in circles they was pulled out the car and had the bags removed as they were taken inside of what looked like a living room as a fireplace was in front of them and to their left and right were dark red couches and in front of them was a glass table and under it was a furry red rug.

"I must be going senile, because I know two wolves didn't just enter my territory without my permission." A voice said as they saw a man come from the right side to see a man show up in a black tank-top as he stood six feet and five inches tall as he was black bald man with muscle nearly 'bout to stretch the shirt and blue jeans as he approached them barefoot "So, who the fuck are you two?" He asked as they looked at each other.

"We are here for the man in charge actually." Nathan began to say "We was hoping he could answer some questions." He finished saying as he looked at them confusingly "Like what?" He asked while crossing his arms and giving a look that wanted whatever came next to sound like bullshit "We need to know about Tay's past- well he's known as the wrath of Fenrir but I heard he-"

"Shut up." The man said as he gestured for one of the men to go get a chair and once he came back he sat down and looked at both of them up and down "You two are bitten aren't you?" He asked as they looked confused "Isn't everyone?" Nathan asked as it made the man in front of them raise a brow as he looked back as the men behind him were chucking and laughing.

"So I'll also take that as you two don't even know what type of world you just threw yourselves into, did you seriously think every wolf you'd meet would be a bitten? And that there just would be no type of hierarchy set in place for idiots like you?" He asked as there was silence as the man groaned loudly while facepalming "Do you even know who you're talking to right now!?" He asked again as the two shared a look before shaking their heads.

"I am Julius Johnson, after the war I was given the nickname "The Saint" but during the war I was someone different." He began to say while reaching for his bottle and started pouring into his glass as the brown liquid swirled around the cup "You see, right now sitting in front of you two idiots is one of the generals of the Alpha of the East or in human terms for you to understand- King of the East." The man now known as Julius said as the two of them gave a long sigh while dropping their heads and silently cursing themselves.

"Now that you both understand that we are the born and you are the bitten- why the hell are you here looking for information?" Julius asked "And who told you where to find me?" He finished saying as he looked to joey to speak "We asked our, uh, Alpha, and he told us to come here." Joey said while watching his choice of words as the man raised a brow "And who exactly is that?" He quickly asked as it made Joey nervous- afraid this man wouldn't know who Jackson is.

"His name is, Jackson" Joey said as Julius looked confused as he looked back as they all shrugged their shoulders except for one "Sir he's the one who challenged the son of "The Ripper" after the royal pack meeting was over and lost and was disowned by default for going up against the nobleman's son." One of the guys said as Julius made a face as if he suddenly remembered something.

"Ahh, I remember that kid, he came from a decent background, decent fighter but he was naïve in thinking he was gonna win up against someone who has inherited the power of a Alpha, and would've died if Tay hadn't came to his rescue." Julius said as he paused for a second before looking at them as if realization clicked "You must be the pack that I just caught wind of." Julius said as he began to chuckle.

"Take these two down stairs, no one speaks to them without my say so." Julius said as he watched his men take them downstairs as he began pulling out one of his phone numbers and dialed a number and saw that he got no answer as he was confused and gave a low hum 'What the hell is Malcom up to?' He thought inwardly while turning and headed downstairs in the basement.

AT THE SAGES MANSION

Sitting at the round table everyone was there except Malcom who was locked away "Does everyone understand what's going on?" Troy said as everyone at the table nodded their heads "I just think we may need a little more time to decide on what to do." A woman with brunette hair and green eyes said as Troy sighed.

"But exactly how much time do you need Tiana?" Troy asked as she averted her gaze "For you to be his right hand man you're very insistent on what we do with him, are you trying to take his place?" A woman with Carmel kissed skin said as her dark brown eyes stares at Troy with suspicion "Don't you ever suggest such a thing, I just want to know what decision are we gonna come to"

"And we will do that after thinking it over some more while also figuring out what to do about the disappearance of that Fenrir descendant we could've had on our side who's also now angry with one of our own and a girl we don't even know we can fix." She said while standing up as everyone else stood up with her and began walking out as Troy wasn't expecting the meeting to go the way it did while gritting his teeth and eventually storming out of the room.
