SAM DECIDED THAT the group needed to travel by subway. The stations were always overcrowded, and Ghostface never would've been able to attack them. That's what she thought, at least. However, the crowded stations could've been used against them, as well.
"Is this even a good plan?" inquired Ethan, frowning, as they headed down the steps to the station.
"You don't have to come if you don't want to." snarled Tara, who clearly couldn't care less for Ethan.
"So we just peel off and the killer picks us off one by one, no thank you!"
"Let's just get to the theater." sighed Sam. "Come on, in here."
Unknowingly, Quinn felt Tara grab onto the back of his shirt as he walked behind Sam alongside Pierce. Behind him was Danny, and behind him was Chad. The crowd thickened as people got off the train.
"I think it's a lot scarier in a serial killer movie theater..." grumbled Chad sarcastically.
Quinn got on the train, although he looked around with his brows furrowed. Mindy had just been beside him. He turned towards the door, where he could see her fighting her wait to the train.
"Fuck! Mindy!" he called out worriedly. "Chad!"
Chad turned to see Mindy on the other side of the doors, and just as they began to close, he stuck an arm through them. It stopped them, but not for long, and he had to pull his arm out as they snapped shut.
"Oh, shit..." mumbled Quinn, running his hands through his hair. "Fuck, fuck, fuck."
"Alicia was next to her." Chad panted, although his voice still wavered slightly. "They'll be okay..."
"Hey, where's Mindy?" demanded Sam from next to Quinn. He felt someone knock into him, and he stumbled backwards, grabbing the bar beside him.
"She missed the train." Chad told her, furrowing his brows together. "I was gonna wait for her, but Cute Boy here dragged me on."
"I was trying to keep us together." Danny defended himself, looking slightly offended.
"By pulling us apart?" remarked Tara suspiciously, huffing.
"Can someone at least text her?" Pierce demanded, his teeth chattering with worry.
Chad pulled out his phone as he got a text. "She's with Alicia and Ethan, it's okay. It's okay. It's fine. She'll meet us there."
"Ethan?" repeated Maria breathlessly.
"Ethan is the worst possible case scenario." Quinn said dryly.
"I don't trust him." agreed Pierce, pointing at Quinn. "I mean, come on now."
Quinn sighed, and he and Chad looked up at the same time. Their eyes landed on the sight in front of them, and the two boys shuddered in sync.
There were about five to ten Ghostfaces all in their car, scattered around. Quinn also saw a Michael Myers, a Pinhead, a Freddy Krueger, and he swore he saw Jason at the very end of the car.
"Oh, shit." mumbled Chad, making everyone follow his gaze.
"How many stops do we have?" inquired Tara worriedly. Sam leaned past her to look at the map, and the lights flickered around them.
She looked back at them, her brows creased with worry. "Ten."
"It's fine." Pierce panted, raising a hand to his forehead. He seemed a little weaker than he had been before. "It's fine! Strength in numbers, right?"
"You're right," Chad put a comforting hand on his shoulder, "we're going to be okay."
