I noticed Harry had seemed off today. He looked a little pale and wasn't talking as much. Which that happens a lot, the not talking much, but I think this is different.
Harry and I were laid in the bed watching tv when I noticed him shivering slightly and letting out small sniffles.
"Are you okay? Are you cold?" I asked looking at him.
Harry shakes his head. "I'm okay, just a little sleepy."
"Are you sure, do you want me to make you some tea to warm you up?"
Harry gives me a tight smile. "I'll be okay."
"Okay, maybe you should get some sleep then?" I suggested.
Harry nods softly, curling into my side.
I run my hand through Harry's hair before letting him sleep for a bit.
When Harry wakes up from his nap, he looks to me and whimpers.
"Harry? What's wrong? Are you okay?" I ask worriedly.
Harry shakes his head. "Feel sick.."
"Come on. Let's get you to the bathroom," I grabbed Harry's arms to help him up.
He moves off the bed slowly. His eyes keep fluttering shut and he was breathing a tad faster than normal.
Once he is out of the bed, I wrap my arm around his waist to lead him to the bathroom that was down the hall.
Harry was hunched over slightly and his steps were slow and small.
"Come on," I tried to get him to move a bit faster but he only groaned in response.
I get him to the bathroom and sit him down in front of the toilet.
I rub his back a little, letting him know I was here with him.
Harry whimpers. "N-not that k-kind of sick.." he looks at me with pain filled eyes.
"Then what's wrong?"
"M-my head and my legs... so dizzy."
"Dizzy?" I asked, "Can you stand?"
Harry nods softly, trying to push himself up. When he finally gets himself up, his knees buckle and he tries to grab onto anything he can.
"Whoa, whoa, Harry!" I rush to catch him before he hits the floor. He whimpers as I slowly lowered him back to the ground.
"S-sorry, I-I didn't.."
"Shh. It's okay," I whispered, "It's okay. I'm gonna help you up sweetie, okay?"
Harry nodded.
I wrap my arm around his back and grip his hand and help him stand.
Harry leaned into me heavily.
"It's okay, I got you. You're gonna be just fine," I soothed, slowly helping him walk out of the bathroom.
It takes us a while to get back to the bedroom with Harry whimpering and shaking, but we made it.
Harry clings to me. "Hurts. Lou Lou."
"Where does it hurt baby?"
"Legs. So bad," Harry whimpers.
"Okay, okay. I'll get you sitting down. Just a few more steps okay?"
Harry nods, his big tall body towering over me.
I bring Harry over to the bed and lie him down. I move to the other side of the bed so I could get in too.
I look over to see Harry's face in a grimace and his eyes were squeezed shut.
I bring the blankets over him and kiss his cheek softly. I bring a hand up to play with his hair while my other cups his cheek.
"I know it's hard, but try to relax. Okay sweetheart? Just relax."
Harry leans into my hand. "L-Lou, please make it better..."
"I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get you some medicine really quick okay? I'll be fast," I hop out of the bed and hurry to the kitchen to get some medication for my sweet boy.
I walk to Harry and sit by his head, "I got some medicine for you Haz. This will make you feel better."
He looked up at me through glassy eyes and reached his hand out.
He took the pill I handed him and sighed quietly.
Harry grabbed my arm and curled into me.
"I got you baby, I got you. You're gonna be okay," I whispered.
"Can you rub my leg?" Harry asked me softly.
"Yeah," I rubbed his upper leg softly and looked back at him.
"Is this better?" I asked.
Harry looks at me tearfully. "A l-little."
When I see that tears were still in his eyes, I lean forward and kiss his forehead.
"Tell me what you need," I said when I pulled away.
"I-I don't know. Just h-hurts."
"Do you think you need to go to the doctor?"
Harry shrugs. Usually he's really against going to the doctor so this is a bit alarming.
"Okay, let's get up then," I get out of the bed and reach for Harry's arms to help him up.
Harry grabs onto my arms, crying in pain when he gets to his feet.
"I know, I know sweetheart," I soothed, "Come on. We've gotta get to the car."
Harry whimpers and holds onto me as we walk to the car. It's clear that he's in a lot of pain.
I sit him down in the passenger's seat and began driving to the nearest hospital.
