Request: Anonymous asked: Could you write for Daemon Targaryen x fem!reader with the prompt "Because I'm in love with (Character). I love them. That's right. I love them. I love them. I love you, (Character) ."???

You looked up at Daemon with wide eyes as he leaned in. He didn't startle as you jumped at the sudden cry that broke the tense moment between the two of you. Daemon raised an eyebrow as an irate young lord began shouting.

"You! You unhand her! Get away." He shouted and pulled at your arm. Daemon looked nothing short of amused.

"Why would I do that?" Daemon asked as he leaned against the door. The commotion had piqued the attention of the guards at the end of the hall.

"I know what foul things you get up to. You want to besmirch my young lady!" The young lord drew his sword and Daemon calmly stepped back. You pulled your arm free and stepped away from the young lord.

"Why would you do something so foolish?" Daemon asked as his hand rested on his own sword.

"Because I'm in love with (Y/N). I love them. That's right. I love them. I love them. I love you, (Y/N) ." The lord snapped and brandished his sword. You pulled a face and took another step back.

"I believe that the lady is not interested in you." Daemon assured him and held up his hands as several guards hurried towards him.

"I know what she likes! It is not you. Prince or not." He assured Daemon who laughed and retreated as the guards walked him backwards.

"Perhaps we should take this elsewhere." Daemon offered as he politely held out a hand. You nodded and took his hand as he led you away while the guards dealt with the young lord.

"I am uncertain who that was in truth." You said quietly which made Daemon chuckle.

"You are not aware of your admirers?" He asked as the two of you walked the corridors, taking in a glimpse of the evening as you passed by large windows.

"I surely am now." You mumbled and he smiled.

"Well, I assure you I am pleased to be among them. It will be my honour to chase them away." Daemon said with a sly smile as he ducked his head a little and glanced at you, seeing the way his words made you smile and skip a little as you walked.
