Daemon Targaryen x Fem!Hightower!ReaderRequested by AnonRequest: Anonymous asked: "No one truly notices me. I suppose it's what I like." daemon targ x fem reader who is a Hightower

Daemon spotted you alone and approached you. He didn't say anything as he looked out into the distance trying to see what had caught your interest. You leaned against the wall of the keep and sighed as you kept your sight fixed on the distance out of the window.

"Is there something I can help you with Prince Daemon?" You asked him. He slowly looked at you and assessed you carefully.

"You seemed... alone. I thought perhaps you might wish for company." He answered. You scoffed and glanced back at the busy room. No one had noticed that you had sent yourself to the corner of the room. Other than Daemon.

"I am surprised you noticed." You bit out. Daemon raised his eyebrows and smiled. He turned so his back was to the window and looked over the room, leaning in as he watched a few people glance over to the two of you.

"Well if you wanted to be noticed." He smiled slyly but his smile fell when you frowned at him.

"No one truly notices me. I suppose it's what I like." You muttered and excused yourself. When Daemon followed you several more heads turned to watch you both.

"Personally I find being noticed to be excellent fun." He muttered. You sighed and nodded.

"I've noticed. You do have a reputation after all." You answered and he laughed loudly, louder than was necessary. "Which you are using now..." You realised as he seemed to be preening under the watchful eyes that were glaring at him from around the room.

"You know if I were to invite you to meet Caraxes I believe their heads would explode with fury." Damon muttered as you both paused at the doorway of the room. You spotted Otto and several other Hightower family members looking your way and talking.

"Or worse you may be burdened with another wife." You muttered. Daemon laughed deeply, the rumbling sound shaking his shoulders as he smiled.

"Such threats, My lady. After an invitation to meet a dragon." He said and smiled wickedly when someone started to hurry over to stop him from luring you away from the crowd and out of the room.

"Here I thought you were the dragon." You said as you were pulled away. He smiled smugly as you glanced over your shoulder at him and became swallowed by the crowd of green around you. Daemon left, whistling a cheerful tune to himself as he swaggered through the corridors of the keep. He would certainly make an effort to notice you again.
