(Atia's POV)

I slumped against the console, and smiled as the machine hummed to me.

"Why thank you, old girl. It is nice to be back," I whispered back. I twisted my ring around me finger. My ring from Henry.

"Are you talking to the TARDIS?" The Doctor asked. "You haven't done that since..." he trailed off.

"I had my memories stolen, and I was on Earth with false memories," I finished.

"So...you remember," he said dully.

"Yep," I said, slowly walking over to him.

Before I even fathomed what was happening, his face was inches from mine.

I hugged him in return, and placed my chin on his shoulder. He sighed, and I knew he had wanted to kiss me.

I remember our conversation on the matter of us.

It was the spiky haired Doctor. He had seen a clone of me die, and when I had appeared, we kissed.

And now I had to do the hardest thing any being could undertake.

I had to break his heart.

"Well, Atia, where should we go next?" He asked. He came behind me. "Atia?"

"Doctor, it can't work," I said quietly.

"What can't work?" He inquired.

"Us," I whispered. He stiffened.

"What do you mean, Atia?"

"I mean I can't...I just can't. It's dangerous Doctor."

"I thought...you said you loved me. The Halpen saw your mind and told me you loved me," he whispered, anger and grief threading into his tone.

"Doctor, I-I..." I said, tears threatening. "We do this, I'll only break your hearts. And you'll break my heart." The Doctor winced at my emphases on my single heart.

"Please don't say that," he said, his voice breaking.

"I'm sorry Doctor. I'm not fully Timelord. I'm not half and half. I's part Dalek! I'm a killer. I was breed to kill you!" I shouted. "And if I hurt you, I couldn't live with myself," I finished, my voice dropping in volume.

I didn't dare turn around. I was scared of seeing his face.

"I'm sorry Doctor. I want to love you, but I can't.
