This is directed towards a female reader.
I got this idea while trying to write for my other books. (My serious ones that I might publish here. Idk yet)
So this is what all these things mean: (Y/E/C): your eye colour. (Y/H/C): your hair colour. (Y/N): your name (idk if some people know thing or not).
Warnings: Kinda sad, lots of tears (and I mean a lot), fluff towards the end (it does get happy I promise!).
Enjoy!(No one's perspective. Kinda like a spectator)
******It was just another day on with the Bad Batch. Hunter was in the cockpit, Wrecker broke something, Tech is fixing what Wrecker broke, and Omega and Phee are talking outside.
"-and that's how I survived three Rancor's attacking me and my crew." Phee had definitely made up half of the story, but it had kept her and Omega entertained for roughly an hour. Omega looked up at Phee in awe. "Wow! That's amazing!" Omega exclaimed. Hunter called to everyone. The ship was ready to go. Everything was ready. Well, at least the hoped so. Phee had been waiting all day to tell Tech how she felt about him. And she really hoped he felt the same.
Now that everyone was on the ship, it was the perfect time for her to ask him. "Hey, Tech? Can I talk to you privately?" She asked, tapping his shoulder pad. He turned to her and adjusted his glasses. "Of course." He was shocked, but that wouldn't stop him from helping his friend. They walked past everyone and Wrecker gave Tech two thumbs up. He didn't know what this meant. Obviously. I mean, it's Tech. They were in Tech and Wreckers room. Phee was shifting her weight from each foot as she tried to find the right words.
"Is everything alright?" Tech asked. Concern had flooded his voice.
"Yeah, yeah. I just, um.. I have to tell you something." She admitted. Trying to sound more casual.
"Well? What is it?" Tech asked. He was never to good at emotions, was he?"Tech, I really like you. Like, more than friends." Phee said, finally getting the words out. Tech stood there. Utterly shocked. His mouth was agape. He didn't know what to say. For once in his life he was speechless. "Say something." Phee told him. He shook his head. "I'm sorry." He said as he walked away. Stumbling out of the door as he did. This couldn't be happening, could it? Was he ready? I mean, his last relationship didn't end the best. I would be scared to if I was him!
Tech walked into the cockpit as Phee trailed him closely. Hunter looked at the two of them. He eventually got the message and left. "Why did you do that?" Phee asked. Her voice barely a whisper. "I can't." Tech's voice broke. Her eyes widened. Was it something she said? "Tech..." Her voice trailed off. "I apologize. My last relationship..." He didn't know where he was going with this. Hunter and Omega were standing in the door. Wrecker was choking back his tears. He knew (Y/N), and other that Tech, they were the closest. Her death really hurt him.
"Who was it?" Phee asked.
"(Y/N). She died." His voice was shaking. And so were his hands. Phee put her hand on his shoulder. "I miss her, and I don't think I'm ready to move on from her." He admitted. He's never really talked about (Y/N). Not since she died. "Is it bad I'm starting to forget her?" Wrecker asked. He looked to the group. He was crying. Not a lot, but enough for Omega to go up and hug him. Tech was remembering. As if all the memories of her he had buried away we're finally surfacing. "What was she like?" Omega asked. Tech sat down. "She was kind. And brave." He started talking. "Her smile was amazing. Her laugh was contagious. She would leave little note's around the ship or the barracks. She would doodle on her medical notes. She was one of the most sarcastic people you will ever meet." He sniffed. Trying as hard as he could not to let the emotions show. "She was the glue that held our team together." Hunter added. Tech nodded. Wreckers tears had slowly dried up, but his shoulders were still shaking.
