Crossing out the ink never meant as much as the day the roses fell, and I was leaving you on read when I finally got the courage to open the email to the flowers I could not cross out just knowing that your ink of the words never brought me any closure because I was keeping the secret of the paper that I was still spilling over with the ink that I wanted to cross out, but I knew that crossing out the ink meant that I also had to cross out the entire story that was the last thing I ever felt the need to do which was creating a new chapter and not having it be called the crossing out of the ink: the day I fell for the roses.
