Today's schedule is free time with Vincent and Bo. Unfortunately, they're the only two on your schedule since Michael lost his free time as punishment for trying to attack the guards that had been inappropriately talking about you and Hannibal isn't allowed to leave his room. Despite this, you'd still like to pay a visit to the both of them and maybe spend some time together with them. Surely you can figure something out.

The morning has gone by quickly, you once again eating with Danny and Brahms. A few of the others gave greetings when you saw them, as well. Even Thomas nodded his head at you as Bubba shyly waved. It's nice knowing that after yesterday they both seem to be opening up at least a little bit. It's progress at the very least.

Currently you're standing outside of the activity room, patiently waiting for the guards to bring Vincent and Bo for their shared free time. You're not really looking forward to having to spend an hour with Bo knowing that he has no interest in being around you but it's the only way to get to spend time with Vincent.

You much prefer the quieter brother simply because he hasn't actively expressed his dislike for you. Unfortunately, you'll have to find a way to get Bo to like you since you do hate the idea of working with someone who hates you. It's hard being around someone who doesn't want you there. You may want them all to like you but you know it will be damn near impossible to get all of them to accept you.

When they finally come down the hall you can visibly see Bo rolling his eyes upon spotting you. Vincent has his head lowered, his hair hanging in his face as he walks. They're being escorted by the same two guards from yesterday- the younger one in front leading them with the older one lingering behind them.

"Good morning." You greet the group as they get closer, not earning a reply from any of them. Sighing softly, you open the door to the activity room before entering with the group following after you.

Bo instantly splits off, heading over to the corner where there's a shelf filled with books and magazines. He grabs a magazine on cars before plopping down on the couch where he leans back and spreads his legs as he gets comfortable for a long hour of looking through his magazine.

Vincent seems to hesitate slightly before heading off to a different part of the room where he opens a cabinet. Inside of the cabinet are blocks of wax and what appears to be plastic tools that surely don't work all that well at carving the wax. He grabs a block of simple white wax and a few tools before sitting down at the table in the center of the room.

You stand against the wall as you watch him work, not wanting to bother him as he carves at the wax. Bo glances up at you every now and then, noticing that your eyes never leave his brother as you smile softly. He can't help but to narrow his eyes at you, wondering what it is you're thinking about. He refuses to believe that you're genuinely interested in them and their interests. Every other nurse seemed disgusted or scared when it came to any of them and the idea that you don't feel the same is almost unperceivable.

Vincent's gaze flickers to his brother only to notice that he's not buried in his magazine like usual. He follows his gaze over to you, only to flush under his mask when he accidentally makes eye contact. You give him a gentle smile and wave which only darkens his unseen blush. He quickly turns away, staring down at his partially carved wax as his heart pounds away in his chest.

Bo watches the interaction, easily being able to tell what's going on with his brother. He doesn't exactly like the idea of his brother liking you in any way shape or form but there's nothing he can really do about it. Clearing his throat, he pulls his brothers attention towards him before nodding his head towards you with a pointed look.

Vincent seems to panic when he realizes what his brother is hinting at. He shakes his head slightly, his hair falling into his face. Bo rolls his eyes before nodding towards you again, making it clear that his brother doesn't have much of a choice in the matter. He reluctantly complies before standing up and heading back towards the cabinet where he grabs a small block of wax and a few more carving tools before returning to his seat.

Vincent sits there for a moment fiddling with his hands before turning to look towards you. Your heart skips a beat when he shyly pats the table in front of an empty chair where he had placed the supplies. You're surprised he's inviting you to join him since he's barely interacted with you before but it makes you extremely happy that he is.

You make sure to move slowly across the room to not startle him before sitting down in the chair next to him. He picks up a tool as he starts working on his own block and you watch him closely with interest. After a few moments you pick up the same tool before turning your attention towards your own wax as you stare at it thoughtfully.

Long ago in high school you took an art class that had done a project on carving wax so you have some idea of what you're supposed to do. The only problem is that it's been so long that you're no longer confident in your abilities to produce anything remotely good. You know that whatever you manage to produce will be garbage in comparison to anything Vincent makes.

Chewing your bottom lip in concentration, you pick up the small block in your nondominant hand before digging the tool into it, slowly carving a design into it. Having no other ideas on what to make, you've decided to carve a small car for Bo since it seems that he's quite into vehicles from the fact that the only thing he's done during his free hour is look through a mechanics magazine.

The rest of the hour is spent with only the sounds of pages flipping and tools clacking against the table as both you and Vincent continue to grab and use different ones. You have no clue what he's making since you refrained from taking a peak. You don't want to intrude more than you already have. If he wants you to see it then he'll show it to you once he's finished with it.

By the time the hour is over, your car is only halfway finished. It seems that Vincent hasn't finished whatever it is he's making either as he go to place it inside the cabinet to finish next time. You do the same as well as wiping off the tools before putting them where they belong. You say your farewells to the two as you stay behind in order to clean up the wax shavings covering the table.

Next up on the agenda is figuring out how to spend time with Michael and Hannibal since neither of them can leave their rooms. You're certain you'll figure something out before lunch at the very least.
