Dipper's POV

We settled in one of the bunker's dirt hallways, and raided one of the shelves filled with water and blankets. I snuck a glance at Stanley.
He's not telling us everything.
Everyone laid down against the wall. When it came time for me to lay down, I set my things down on the opposite wall. Mabel started to tear up again, and she buried her face in Stan's chest. I felt a pang of guilt, but shooed it away quickly.
She betrayed me.
Stan gave me a pleading look. Another pang of guilt.
He lied to me.
I took a swig of my water, and lay down on my bed of blankets. Then I had a realization.
I don't have to stay with them. I can go off on my own.
A plan slowly formed in my mind. When everyone was asleep, I stood up. I took a last look at everyone, and silently said sorry. I grabbed my blankets and a few water bottles, and quietly opened a weapon closet. I only took a small knife. I looked at Mabel, at her tear-stained face, at the knife she was clutching her hand. I stealthily pulled it out, and carved a message in the handle.
"Mystery Twins."
I set it above her sleeping body, hoping she would see it in the morning. I took a last look at my past, and headed down the dark path.
-
"Hey, Pine Tree!" Someone excitedly greeted me. "Ugh. Bill, why do you always mess with me?"
The triangle appeared in front of me.
"Because it's fun! Now how's about that deal?"
I thought it over. "What do you want, anyway?"
Bill laughed. "Well, it you have to know, I have no power in reality, I am a dream demon after all. I need, no, not a puppet. I just need you to do what I say," he explained to me.
I crossed my arms. "And what are you planning to tell me to do?"
Bill laughed again. "Pine Tree, haven't I been telling you? Big things are coming! If you're smart, you'll team up with me. And I know that you're not one to make stupid decisions,"
"Why should I help you?!" I yelled at him. "It's not like you've done anything for me!"
Bill leaned back patiently. "It's not like you have anything better to do, Pine Tree. Besides, you're all on your own now! You'll need someone to protect you! It's not like Shooting Star or Claw will help you now," An image of the deadly scene of Mabel trusting Stan appeared on the triangle. Then the part when Stanley revealed himself. I winced. He was right. Bill snapped his fingers and a blue flame appeared around his hand. "So how's about it, Pine Tree?" I hesitated, and shook his hand. He laughed, and then disappeared.
What did I just do?

Mabel's POV

I woke up, and rubbed the crust put of my eyes from my tears the night before. I glanced over at Dipper. Dipper?
Where is he?
"Stan," I shook him awake. He groaned, and looked at me. "What?"
"Dipper's missing," I reported.
"What?!"

There we go! Finally I have an idea! Hope you liked this chapter, the next one might be out on Wednesday or Thursday. Later, fallers!
