This chapter may sound a little Billdippy, but it's NOT. If there's one ship I hate the most, it's Billdip (no offense, Billdip shippers). So none of that.

Mabel's POV

I woke up, sweating. The memories from my dream flooded back into my mind.
Dipper...
Dipper is going to be okay!
I reassured myself.
Bill is going to bring Dipper back, and everything is going to be fine.
Right?

Bill's POV (Yes, I'm doing this):

Shooting Star is too gullible.
Too blinded by grief and loss to realize what she was doing was practically suicide.
She didn't know.
I didn't need her. I needed to kill her off, anyway.
I didn't need any of them.
Except Pine Tree. He had more power than any of them could ever comprehend.
Not even the old Pines twins knew about the ultimate power the kid possessed.
Not even Pine Tree knew the power he withheld.
I can use it. Work it against him. All of them.
After all, all it takes is a trick of the mind.

Dipper's POV

I woke up. I felt my forehead. It felt semi-normal. Still threateningly warm, but not boiling hot like it was before. I groaned. Where was everyone? I thought I saw Mabel when... It happened. Maybe I was just imagining it.
I questioned whether or not my voice would come back.
If it did, it would try and find Mabel. For some reason, it wanted her dead. I looked at the knife lying next to me. I picked it up and bluntly stared at it.
Would I really risk Mabel's life to be alive?
It was me or her. It was as simple as that.
Selfishly, I put the decision aside and stood up. Seriously, where was everyone?
Then the color the world previously had leaked away. That could only mean my favorite dream demon was about to show up.
Note the sarcasm.
Sure enough, Bill Cipher put a uncomfortably warm hand on my shoulder.
I pulled away, and turned around. "Bill? What happened? Where is everyone?" I no longer bothered to tell him to leave me alone. That clearly wasn't happening.
"Well, you see Pine Tree, you died."
"What?!"
"Yep. My ole' buddy took control of your mind, and killed ya. But never fear, being the kind demon that I am-"
I scoffed. "Yeah, right."
"I brought you back to life! Happy day! Anyway, seeing as I'm fulfilling my end of the deal so far, I need you to cash in on yours."
"And? What do you want?"
"I need some help with reality."
I stayed silent, unsure what he meant.
Bill sighed. "I need you to help me, since I can't touch anything in reality."
"Okay, what do you need?"
"Don't freak out or anything, but I need to tell you something."

[Don't get too excited, Billdip shippers. It's not happening. This isn't Billdip]

"And that would be?"
"You see, you and your sister- ever since you were born, your fates have been sealed. You'd be working for different sides. Shooting Star is the key to stopping me, but you- you are the key to stopping them."
I gasped silently. "C-could you repeat that?"
"You were literally born to rule the universe. Next to me, of course."
"H-how do I know you're not lying to me?"
"Hey, don't believe me if you don't want to. Have I ever lied to you?"
"No..."
"But, however, that unfortunately means that-"
Suddenly I realized what he was leading up to.
"I have to kill Mabel."
"Bingo. I need her dead. But I can't do it. Like I said, I'm a dream demon, not a reality demon!" He laughed. "Anyway, if you need some help, just call me!" He made the "call me" sign his fingers.
But I was no longer listening. The situation was getting more and more drastic. It really was me or her.
But why was I hesitating? I should be picking her over myself.
But then again, here I was. I noticed Bill had left, and the world's colors had been restored. I sat helplessly on the ground. Soon Mabel would come looking for me. What would I tell her?
Nothing, I told myself. She doesn't need to know.
Then I realized.
I was going to do it.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA
