Lord John Carey was related both to Lord Patrick William Howard and Lord Edmund Beaufort but distantly.

Lord John Carey's ancestor married Lod Edmund Beaufort ancestress and their son married a daughter of Lord Patrick William Howard's ancestor.

Lord John Carey was not rigid like Lord Patrick Willliam Howard or Lord Edmund Beaufort. He was more laidback and informal.

He didn't stand on formality and in fact he deplored it and he didn't dress like most aristocrats.

Lord John Carey settled on Lady Ann Hastings, the daughter of Lord Henry Hastings and she was only the daughter of a baron, but when they married he didn't have a title and he became a Baron through marriage.

Lord John Carey was content with his beautiful wife until April 27, 2153 when their lives changed with news that they must flee their beloved Bedford, England.

Lord John and Lady Ann had to hastily pack up only what they could carry in their suitcases and leave their country home.

Three days later with Lord Patrick William Howard and Lord John Devereux and many others they boarded the USS Excalibur and set off for Star-Base 12.

Lord John Carey was 20 years old and Lady Ann had just turn 18 before the left Europe and they had wanted to start their family, but the journey took four years to reach StarBase 12 and another five years to build their home and finally they could start their family 32 and 29 year old and they had to settle on two children, Lord Philip Carey arrived in 2165 and Lady Philadelphia arrived in 2170.

Lord John Carey and his wife, Lady Ann were happy and content with their two children and he claimed the second largest territory on Star Base 12 in 2165 and named it Bedford Territory.

With the help of Lord Patrick William Howard and Lord John Devereux. They built together each other's homes of Norfolk Estate, Bedford Manor, and Chartley Manor.

Lord John Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory was like the rest of his peers. He was approachable, he was easy to get along with, he didn't stand on formality and his Dukedom and Territory was laid back and he would often meet and greet his people.

Lord John Carey enjoyed getting out to be with his people and he enjoyed the simple life and he loved farming.

He taught his son, Lord Philip to do the same and his son, was like his father and he would be seen talking to his father's people and when it came time to marry he chosen a simple young lady, Lady Dorothy Devereux, the granddaughter of Lord John Devereux through his son, Lord Richard in 2185 and in 2187 they had a son, Lord Willian Carey and in 2192 they had a daughter, Lady Essex Carey who became good friends with Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard and Lord William Carey became good friends with Lord Charles Andrew Howard, both the children of Lord Frederick Willian Howard.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard and Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard were thick as bricks when it came time to fight their father for the right to marry who they wanted.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells his father "Listen here old man. I don't want to make my mother a widow. Lady Sophia Charlotte will marry Lord William Carey and I will marry Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Spencer-Churchill. If you stand in our way. I will cut you into collops."

"Mother still has Lord Andrew Charles to raise and I don't want my little brother to lose his father." Lord Charles Andrew Howard states.

Lord John Carey watches his grandson, Lord William Carey marry the granddaughter of Lord Patrick William Howard in 2207 and he is alive to see his first great-grandson, Lord George Frederick Carey be born in 2209, before he passed away in 2210.

Lord John Carey is succeeded by his son, Lord Philip Carey who only governs Bedford Territory from 2210-2240, and he is alive to see his grandson, Lord Robert Frederick Carey be born in 2230 before he passes away in 2240.

Lord Philip Carey is alive to see his granddaughter, Lady Matilda Carey be born in 2235 before he dies

Lord Philip Carey is alive to see grandson, Lord George Frederick Carey marry Lady Henrietta Ann Bourbon in 2228 and his son is just as laid back as he is and so is his grandson, Lord George Frederick Carey.

Lord John Carey wasn't your ordinary aristocrat and he didn' like rigid rules, he likes to meet and greet his people when he was alive and son, grandson and great-great-grandson were the same way, but George Frederick Carey outlived his son, Lord Robert Frederick Carey by three months and in 2270, he was succeeded by his grandson, Lord Richard William Carey who became Duke of Bedford Territory at the age of 20 years old.

Lord Richard William Carey would be Duke of Bedford Territory from 2270-2331 and he would be succeeded by his daughter, Lady Caroline Matilda Carey, but his son, Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey would go on to be Duke of Langley Territory on Star Base 12 from 2289-2370.
