Detention.

"Y/NN!"

You jolt awake looking around the room quickly. You roll your eyes when you see maddie and Pansy standing over you.

"Really?" You ask rubbing your eyes.

"Really. Now get up we have lessons today." Pansy says walking into the bathroom.

"Great." You mumble to yourself

"It's not going to be THAT bad." Maddie reassures you patting a hand on your shoulder.

"I have professor umbridge first." You say giving her an irritated look.

"Ok maybe it is bad but atleast me and Pansy will be there with you." She reassures you as Pansy comes out of the bathroom.

"Your right." You stand up and make your way to the bathroom.

You decide to have a quick shower and by the time you finished showering you had around 30 minutes till you needed to be in class.

You quickly got changed and sorted yourself out before walking over to Pansy and maddie who were waiting for you to finish getting ready.

"Ready to go?" You asked them.

"Yes." They answered at the same time.

You three walked down to the common room and saw Draco and Blaise.

"Morning ladies." Blaise says standing up off of the couch, Draco copying him.

"You ready to go to class?" Draco says looking around at everyone.

"No.." you mumble

"Great let's go!" Blaise says grabbing your arm and pulling you to the common room door.

Around 10 minutes later you arrive at the class. Blaise opens the door and you all walk in.

"Ah! Welcome. Take a seat wherever for today." Professor Umbridge spoke enthusiastically.

"For today?" You repeated furrowing your eyebrows.

"Yes. Tomorrow you will be put into assigned seats." Umbridge confirmed.

"Since when did we have assigned seats?" You ask looking  up at Maddie and Pansy puzzled.

You got two shrugs in return as you found a table and sat down.

You look around and notice that a few other students were already in here.

"Good morning children."

The loud class suddenly became silent as everyone suddenly turned their heads to the back of the classroom where professor Umbridge was now standing.

You watch as she brings out her wand and points it to the board. "Ordinary....wizarding...level...examinations." She says as the words appear on the board.
"More commonly known as...OWLs. These are to be taken at the end of this year."

You were already bored.

"Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so, and the consequences may be.....severe." Umbridge continues as she points her wand to a stack of defence against the dark arts books, making them levitate and make their way to the students desks.

The lesson was mostly filled with you revising with Maddie and Pansy.

"Why are we revising so early in the year?" Maddie suddenly asks breaking the silence between the three of you.
