I struggled with stopping myself from eating when I wanted to. It was hard, if I ate one hour, it was only a matter of time before I felt the need to eat more. I have been working on it, I had reduced my food intake.
That was a good thing right?
Maybe I had that disorder, it didn't matter right? As long as I bring myself back to normal. I was working on that.
I was happy to see Jesse walk into the kitchen that morning, there was no telling to that.
"You okay?" He asked me and I nodded very well. I have been better.
"So, what's your plan for today?" He asked me.
"No plans, just getting by life," I answered him.
He was about to say something else when an unfamiliar voice distracted both of us.
"Jesse! I'm here!" She called.
Jesse's face lit up with excitement as he heard that person speak.
The girl walked into the kitchen as though she was very familiar with the house. She had long dark hair, wore a short black gown that hugged her curves and the orange leather jacket she topped it off with. You could tell she was comfortable in her skin, and with that kind of colour intensity, you could tell that her life was on and full of colours.
"Victoria!" Jesse called as he went forward to hug her.
"This is June, Victoria," he introduced us together. I waved at her and she shook her head playfully as she came forward to me with a big smile and pulled me into a hug.
Of course, Jesse was a good person. He only deserved someone as good as he was. He didn't deserve someone to share him burdens that weren't his.
"Where's Mel and Avery?" She asked as she turned away from me, walking out of the kitchen.
"I'll see you," Jesse waved at me as he walked out, following her too.

Jesse didn't see me, he didn't come back to see me.They were downstairs talking about stuff that I had no idea how to contribute to. Although Lisa tried hard to involve me in the discussion, I just didn't fit in so I went upstairs.
As I stood in front of the mirror, comparison set in my mind and I couldn't help but wish I was comfortable in my own skin like that. I wish I would be the one to be looked at that way. Jesse didn't have the look of pity when he looked at Victoria, he didn't feel the need to try and save her.
I tried hard. I tried to resist the urge to carry from the packet of chips lying there on the table. I didn't last long anyways.
Jesse gave me hope that I didn't have to change my body for those jerks who did what they did. He made me realize that they were the one with the issues. He made me feel like wanting to remain, but it didn't matter. He wasn't going to look at me the way I wanted him to, so it didn't matter if I tore the bag of chips open.
It didn't matter if I took another bag after that. I simply couldn't care less.
"June, dinner!"
That was the voice that pulled me out of my slumber. So I left the bed, washed off the dried tears from my face and fixed my hair before going downstairs.
As I got to the dining, I sat down ignoring Jesse's gaze. Did he suddenly feel the need to save me again after he saw me?
Avery was at her usual spot in front of the TV so I could say that Victoria had left, seeing as she was nowhere to be found. Once Lisa was done eating, she packed up.
