6:00 am. I know I always update these logs just before going to sleep but today is different. Today is the last time I am updating the log. I'm going home. The machine is all set fuel is placed in the fuel chamber. All I have to do now is to stand in the traveler's pod and wait ten seconds for the countdown to hit zero and HOME. Whoever founds these logs I wish you the best.
Day- Feb 13th, 22023
Hey, yes I haven't gone home yet but there's something I got to tell you before I leave. While I was initiating the time machine a recording played, it is choppy, audio is missing at several locations and it is filled with background noises.
If by the time you find these logs and the recording is not working, here's what I heard from it, "If... change the past and... lives of Trillions of living being... saved... have to fix it." I think I heard the voice of the person in the recording somewhere but couldn't place it because of the background noise.
Look I understand what you are thinking. Morally I should save the day, change the past and prevent the extinction of the animal kingdom of this planet but... How do I say it... you see everything that happens, happens because of a reason, a grand plan if you will. This extinction also may have a reason; nobody can know that reason for sure. I am not of this planet or even I was of this planet, for me the extinction has not happened yet and it will not happen for the next 18998 years, simultaneously it has already happened, so it doesn't matters. What matters is, me going back to my time, my home. I hope you understand that this is a Goodbye.
Day- Feb 13th, 22023
All the possible bad luck of the universe is in my portion. I missed one thing and I am stuck here. Apparently, there is a max limit to the mass that can be traveled in time at once. 60 fu++ing Kgs, yes the object/subject using the time machine has to be of mass 60 Kg or less.
I have to drop 2 Kg of mass to go back home. 2 kgs I'm stuck here because of two kg. On top of that, the machine went under malfunction check for 25 hours. Right now it's 4 pm. I can't go home at least till tomorrow. So for dropping the mass, I'm not going to eat anything till tomorrow and I'll keep the water intake to the minimum. And also there's outlet too, yeah you understood what I mean.
To keep my head busy and off of hunger I'm going to poke my nose into the recording I found and the records on how the people of this planet were planning to change the past and save the animal kingdom. I guess I'm going to be a hero. Till tomorrow.
