Dylan yawned and opened his eyes, slowly getting up and walking towards the shower, after he took a warm refreshing shower he had breakfast and drove to work. He went upstairs and sat on his desk, when one of his co workers said hi.

"Mornin' Dylan, how was the weekend?" His co worker asked.

"Morning Mike, it was good, yours?" Dylan reluctantly said.

"Great, hey-" Mike said when a brunette entered the hall, wearing a tight short skirt and a blouse on the top with her hair fixed in a braid. "You seein' that?" Mike said checking the girl out. "Dayum" he said following her ass with his sight while she past them.

"Yeah whatever" Dylan said opening his laptop.

"Whatever?" Mike asked impressed. "You can't deny Laurel is hot af" he said.

"I have a girlfriend" Dylan said.

"But you ain't dead, there's no harm on watchin' right?" He said laughing.

"Right" Dylan said not too interested.

After a few minutes Laurel walked towards them with a cheeky smile on her face.

"Dylan, Mike, Sebastian who was going to accompany me to the event tonight got sick so Dylan you have to patch him" she said winking.

"Why me and not Mike?" He relutantly asked.

"Mike has a lot of work to do" she said putting a pile of paperwork on Mike's desk. "You have your hands a bit more free" she said leaning closer, letting her cleavage be seen.

"I didn't work this weekend so I do have a lot of work to do-" he said when she interrupted.

"Don't worry we did all that, so 9pm" she said walking back to her office.

"That girl wants you bad" Mike said with a sigh. "Too bad it ain't me, I'll be hittin' that booty like a drum" he laughed.

"You should go instead of me then" Dylan joked.

"She wants you hommie, I ain't forcin' no one to get in bed with me thats fer sure" Mike said shaking his head.

"Well you're right but she won't be getting anything out of me either so..." he said leaning his back on his chair.

After a few minutes he checked the time, he had to go home to put on something fancy since these events were in fact fancy. He took his stuff and waved Mike goodbye. After he got home and dressed up nice he went to pick Laurel up. She entered the car.

"Well you're looking nice" she joked.

"I can look nice from time to time" he said joking back.

They got to the event, it was in a place wide big room, it had many tables and people walking around, some of them were famous others not so much.

A waitress offered them something to drink, Dylan declined but Laurel accepted drinking a martini.

"You sure you should be drinking at work?" Dylan said judging her.

"Its not like I'd get drunk is it dad?" She said mocking him.

"Right" he sarcastically said.

They spoke to some people and took some pictures, Dylan joined Laurel on hosting the event but he barely spoke, he wasn't used to these kind of things just yet.

"Say cheese!" Laurel said taking a selfie.

"Laurel I think its enough of alcohol" Dylan said taking away the just served martini she had in hand.

"Boo" she said putting her arm around his neck.

"Can you even stay up?" He joked.

"You know you're really handsome" Laurel said leaning closer. Dylan leaned away. "Don't be shy" she said stealing a kiss from him, he quickly but gently pushed her away.

"Laurel I have a girlfriend" he stated.

"A girlfriend?!" She said impressed. "See Dylan those kind of things are things you have to say first thing you start working in a place where single women your age work aswell" she said with a sigh a bit upset.

"My... age?" He whispered clearly knowing Laurel was five years or so older than him.

"You need to say those things so I won't make a fool of myself!"

"You never asked" he stated.

"You should've said so!" She said still upset.

"Well Im leaving, you want me to drive you back?" He suggested.

"Nah I'll take a cab" she said and he smiled relieved.

"Okay bye" he said quickly leaving that awkward situation.

He sat on the car and puched everything he found, he was feelinh so guilty about what just happened, even tho she was the one who went for it, he just couldn't take the fact he cheated, yes cheated out of his head. He then leaned his back on the seat, all sort of images went through his head. If he cheated and a girl stole a kiss from him, it is possible for that kid, Sarah's friend to steal a kiss from her aswell, what if she likes it? What if she finds out and never forgives Dylan? That kid will be there for her, just like Matt was, wait Matt? That's right, he's been lost for a while, what if he jumps on her life again? Those were things in Dylan's head, he was upset and also sad, and he didn't know how to tell Sarah without hurting her feelings, thats the least he wanted to do because he loved her.
