Sarah opened the door to her room and Jessie was sleeping like a baby on her bed, she let out a sigh and sat on her bed.

"Why can't I just call him and talk to him? Why is it so hard... it hurts" she said putting her right hand on her chest, with a few tears coming down her cheek.

She cried herself to sleep.

Next morning someone knocked at the door, Sarah opened her eyes and Jessie wasn't on her bed, she was probably at class. She wasn't in the mood to go to class so she skipped it and stayed in bed. She got up and opened the door.

Daniel was there.

"Daniel" she said yawning.

"Sarah, are you okay? You skipped class didn't you?" he asked pushing his way inside, siting on the dinning table.

"So what if I did, wasn't feeling too good" Sarah said sitting next to him.

"You said you were just fine yesterday" he stated.

"That was yesterday-"

"Something happened?" Daniel insisted.

"Always trying to be the listener" she said crossing her arms over her chest.

"I do what I can" he chuckled.

"It's Dylan..." Sarah began.

"Okay" Daniel said nodding.

Sarah told him the situation and Daniel remained in silence a few seconds thinking.

"I think you need to speak in person, it will hurt more if you stay like this, overthinking everything" he suggested.

"But, do you have any idea what am I capable of if I see his face? Ugh Im so upset!" she yelled.

"You'll probably punch him but that's okay, let it all out" he joked.

"I'm not punching him!" Sarah yelled embarrassed.

"I know you wouldn't, you love him don't you?" Daniel said, glancing at her concerned.

"I... love him..." she whispered. "That's right, I love him... I love him" she repeated.

"Do you really love him or you're just saying it to yourself so you'll believe it?" Daniel suddenly said, worried.

"No, I do love him it's just that everything we've been through-"

"Does it matter? Truly?" he said, getting closer to grab her hand.

"Of course it does I mean, everything was a mess and he made me suffer, oh God I suffered so much to get to him until he finally noticed he was into me, that he loved me and I don't know-"

"Bullshit, that's all in the past now, you decided to start a relationship, you got into college, you made new friends, are you really living in the past at the moment?" he said, still grabbing her hand.

"Of course not, Im trying my best to do new things-"

"Then that's your answer, stop making excuses Sarah" Daniel said with a kind warm smile.

"Daniel, it's funny, because you're always saying the right things in the right moments... Thank you for being always there, Jessie even said you were there because you liked me, how silly" Sarah said with a chuckle.

"She did?" Daniel asked blushing.

"Y-Yeah" Sarah stuttered noticing he blushed. "She said you cared because you were into me, but you're always helping me with Dylan so obviously that's-"

"I wouldn't do anything even if I could" Daniel suddenly said.

"Not tr- What?" Sarah asked impressed.

"I know you love your boyfriend Sarah, I noticed that a while ago, Im no home wrecker, I won't admit that you're a wonderful girl and very interesting, not to mention cute but you're taken so I might as well look somewhere else" he smiled.

"That's... the cutest thing ever" Sarah said smiling. "I mean, you don't even know me that much and still you want me to be happy... everyone but Dylan" Sarah said with a tear rolling down her cheek.

"No, I bet he cares, more than anyone of your friends, he's just... scared maybe" Daniel said.

"Scared of what! I accepted him being scared of admitting he liked me, Im done with that crap" Sarah said.

"You two need to be honest" he stated.

"That's the problem, I mean you're honest why can't he be honest too!" she yelled.

"Honest? Me? Im not honest" Daniel laughed.

"But you just told me-"

"If I were being honest..." he said leaning closer.

Softly kissing Sarah on the lips.

"Now, that's me being honest" he said blushing and smiling.

"But-"

"He was honest Sarah, he told you the truth you just don't know what's truly honesty and what's not" he said getting up from the table walking to the door.

"But-"

"Fix that and everything else will come it's way" he said leaving the room.

Sarah stood in silence, not knowing how to react.

She went back to bed and tried to take a nap, so she wouldn't think on what just happened.

After a couple of hours she woke up, it was about 6pm, she got up from the bed and took some leftovers in the fridge. After she ate she took a shower and sat on her bed to watch a movie.

The hours passed.

She checked her phone once in a while with no new messages.
