Dylan was playing videogames by his living room, constantly checking his phone with no new messages nor calls from anyone. He let out a sigh.
"Did I do the right thing?" he thought to himself, trying to stop thinking on the situation and paying attention to the videogame.
After a few hours playing he looked at the clock, it was 1:30am. He took a deep breath and walked to his room, putting the essential stuff on a backpack and rushing downstairs to his car.
He drove almost three hours away from his home.
"Sarah wake up" Jessie said as Sarah opened her eyes.
"What?" she said not wanting to get up.
"I think you need to see this" Jessie said showing her a pack of flowers.
"Flowers?" she said sitting on her bed noticing a little note. "Matt needs to know that flowers die-" she said noticing it said 'Dylan'.
"I know flowers die. But as long as they live they're beautiful, as beautiful as you. Im Sorry. Dylan. xx"
Sarah left the flowers on the table.
"Sarah, he's trying his best-"
"Shut up Jessie" Sarah said with tears.
"Im sorry" Jessie said leaving for the bathroom.
"Flowers won't do Dylan..." she whispered to herself, still crying.
Suddenly a card came down the door.
"Huh?" she said taking it.
"Then what about dinner?" it said.
She quickly opened the door, noticing it could have been Dylan himself who slid the note through the door.
There was no sign of him though.
"Dinner won't do either!" Sarah yelled closing the door.
After she dressed up and find the mood to go to class, she went to class.
Later on she went back to the dorms, a note was pinned at the door.
"No flowers, no dinner, an apology clearly didn't do either..." it said.
Upset she took the note and teared it apart.
"An apology was the first thing he did, that's the only thing I'd accept" Daniel said from his room, glancing at Sarah.
"D-Daniel!" Sarah yelled, blushing. "Sh-Shut up!" she said quickly getting inside her room.
She still didn't know how to feel about that kiss, about Daniel being so straight forward.
She went to take some sleep.
Next morning she woke up and noticed a bunch of notes on the floor.
"I know you're asleep, while Im here, waiting for you to accept my apology..."
"It's no joke Sarah, I do miss you..."
"It's 5:30am I made you breakfast, Jessie put it on the frigde"
"You're about to wake up, I can't stay up any longer... I love you and I miss you..." it said the last note.
Confused she walked to the door, slowly opening and peeking outside.
As she thought Dylan was on one side of the door, sleeping. Sitting with one hand holding his chin.
"Dylan..." she whispered, getting close to him. "Im sorry" she said softly touching his face.
He was so tired that he didn't wake up with a touch, she ran her fingers through his hair and all.
"I really am" she said giving him a warm peck on the lips.
"Sarah" he said opening his eyes.
"I was upsted and-"
"It's okay, Im sorry too" he said getting up and facing Sarah.
"Listen I love you, I guess I was so mad at you that I didn't want to see the real situation" she said as he hugged her.
A tight warm hug.
She stood speachless.
"I know, I love you, you and only you" he said looking at her in the eye. "Let's forget all the bullshit we've been through and let's start over" he suggested.
"Start... over?" she asked confused.
"You and me and no one else" he said, she smiled. "Hello, Im Dylan" he said with a chuckle and giving her his hand.
"Im- Im Sarah" she said blushing and laughing too.
"I like your pajamas" Dylan said.
"Thanks, my brother bought them" she laughed playing along.
"Your brother must be some real funny guy" Dylan said.
"He is" she said as a small tear came down her cheek.
"Oh a happy tear, that's good" Dylan said leaning closer.
"What are you doing?" Sarah asked getting nervous.
"Doing what I should have done the first day I met you" he said kissing her.
"I love you Dylan" Sarah said.
"I love you Sarah" Dylan said.
THE END.
