Alex's P.O.V.

Alex tried to call Morgan back, but it kept going to voicemail. Whatever, he was too drunk to really care. After all, this was a Valentines Day party, gotta drink at a party. Even still, he couldn't bring himself to kiss, or even show affection to those at said party. It just felt wrong, like he was betraying Morgan. Even though they never really dated, Alex always had feelings deep down. He tried to push them deep, but it never seemed to work. It was just something about him.

Once the party started to die down, a frantic knock at the door caught Alex's door. This party was private, and at a solitary location. Checking the peep-hole he sees no one else but Barnaby. Opening the door to greet him, Alex notices something off. Barnaby wasn't his usual calm self, he had tears staining his cheeks.

"Barnaby, what happened?" Barnaby gripped Alex's arm in response, bringing him into an oddly-comforting hug.

"Morgan. . . he jumped."

The world started to spin. This is just some sick prank, right? Right? It couldn't be true, there's just no way. Morgan wouldn't do something like this, he was just fine when Alex last saw him. What could've happened? Then he remembered. He remembered the phone call.

Morgan killed, and he couldn't handle it. When Morgan needed him most, he hung up. This was all his fault, and he knew it.
