chapter 35
y/n stopped in her tracks as she felt a jolt of pain go through her.
her husband who was walking with her also stopped to check on her,
"are you okay?" he asked.
she closed her eyes and her eyebrows furrowed in frustration, she placed her hand on his shoulder for support.
this gesture concerned the male as he wrapped his arm around her waist to support her.
"...giyuu, they're.." she stammered out,
"they're what? and who?"
"the swordsmith village... i have a bad feeling right now."
"now, time to end this." the three demons stated as they stared at the bodies of tanjiro and nezuko.
meanwhile, muichiro easily kills one of the summons of the real demon.
"whoa! thank you, tokito-dono. you cut him in the blink of an eye!"
"kanamori-saaaaan!" the kid cried out.
"young kotetsu!! i'm glad you're safe." he pats the kid's head.
"i honestly thought i was gonna die!" cried the poor kid.
"are you this kanamori person? you have my blade ready? bring it out." muichiro stated.
kanamori stared at the blade muichiro was holding and nodded.
"oh no! this is really chipped. that's why i'm here. i see, i see. then i'll give you your blade."
"....that went pretty quick."
"actually tanjiro-kun asked us to fix your blade, and he wanted you to know about it."
"tanjiro? tanjiro actually..."
"that's why i had to look for your first swordsmi... oh right!"
he paused.
"HAGANEZUKA-SAN!!"
he yelled out,
and soon they arrived at a shed.
"oh, thank the gods! there're no fish monsters here! he's working in that shed."
kanamori rushed, "we have a sword to give you!! so take it! and go to the village chief!"
"no, i can't." muichiro answered.
"eh, why?"
muichiro then pulled kanamori backwards, "oww, what was that!!"
"it's coming." was all he said.
"hyo!"
a hidden vase started to move, then out came a demon. not just any demon,.. an upper rank.
"you noticed me, huh? i guess that means you're a hashira."
muichiro got into a fighting stance.
"is something important in that abandoned shed? i wonder what all the rustling in there's about. hyo hyo!"
"muichiro... where is he?! ...oh my god, genya!" y/n frantically states,
she looks at her husband in sheer panic.
"giyuu, are the children asleep? we have to go to oyakata-sama."
"the children are safe inside our estate, their nannies are there taking care of them."
y/n was about to run ahead but she fell to her knees, her head was spinning.
since her husband had his arm wrapped around her waist, he was also brought down to his knees.
concerned, he cupped her cheeks to check her face. her eyes were closed.
"open your eyes, look at me."
she didn't open her eyes, instead, her brows furrowed.
"y/n, let me see your beautiful eyes."
"..giyuu."
"my love." he stated, tone serious as ever.
she hesitantly opened her eyes, he saw that her eyes were her normal human eyes, which was a relief to him.
"calm down." he assured her,
she didn't utter a word as she just hugged him, letting the silence give them comfort.
then she spoke,
"...i'm worried."
"calm down, they are strong and you know that."
"but what about the other people... we have to go to oyakata-sama."
giyuu nodded, he helped her up slowly.
"can you walk?"
she nodded, but he still supported her while they were making their way to their master's estate.
'...i hope my hunch is not true.'
