"why don't you stay at our estate? training starts tomorrow, when the sun sets." she offered,

"are you sure, y/n-san?" he asked.

"of course! you're so welcome to stay at our estate." she joyfully said.

the other hunters sweat dropped at this, these hashiras really have favorites. they can't even argue with that, tanjiro is a nice guy.

tanjiro smiled widely, "thank you so much!"

y/n turned to the other hunters, "get some rest."

they replied with, "yes, ma'am!"

both y/n and tanjiro left the training ground, leaving the hunters on their own.

"oh to be y/n-san's favorite." one sighed,

"as if, not once have we even beat her in training." another scoffed.

"because her training is so hard! i feel like i'm going to die any second."

"i agree, it's scary." one shivered, thinking about the training.

"and she's also scary."

as soon as y/n closed the door, they heard footsteps coming their way.

"twanjwiro!" a happy rou waddled his way to the said boy, his brother curiously looked at him.

tanjiro happily picked up the young boy, "hello, rou!"

"mama!" hoshihiko called out, running to his mother. she picked him up and kissed his cheek.

"welcome home. oh, hello tanjiro." a voice greeted, giyuu emerging from another room.

"hello, giyuu-san!" tanjiro replied, enthusiastically.

hoshihiko pointed at tanjiro, "mama, who?"

"he is mama and papa's friend, and i guess rou's playmate? his name is tanjiro." she chuckled.

"weird that rou didn't run to you first." giyuu pointed out.

y/n playfully pouted at her youngest son, "i'm hurt, baby."

rou immediately teared up, "me wuv mama!"

tanjiro panicked, he sets the little boy down. rou waddled his way to his mother, putting his hands up.

she easily picked him up with her other arm, kissing his cheek.

"i'm kidding, rou." she said, giving him a gentle smile.

he sniffled, hugging his mother. her older son copying his brother.

the other two guys stared at them. giyuu slightly smiling, admiring his family.

after their little moment, y/n lead tanjiro to a spare room they had. grabbing a futon from the wooden closet, she laid the futon down on the floor.

"if you need anything, let me know." she was about to leave the room but stopped.

"have you eaten anything?" she questioned, tanjiro shook his head.

"come join us." she gently smiled.

"t-thank you so much!" he almost teared up.
