Chapter 17

"Nini!" Lisa exclaimed as she opened the door, "Lili! How are you? Are you feeling alright now?" Jennie asked as she went inside. "I'm feeling much better now, unnie." "Hmm, I bet it's because of your nurse." Jennie teased while moving her eyebrows. "Unnie!" Lisa said as she blushed.

"You better get me a new Chanel bag Lisa-yah, I was the one who called her, and you know what? She was so panicked when she heard you were sick, if not for their rehearsal, she would've been here right after I called her." Jennie said.

"Really?"

"Really really!"

"You really like her do you?" Jennie asked Lisa as she witnessed her sister blushing. Without a word, Lisa nodded and hugged her. "Unnie, what do I do?" Lisa asked. "Well, you already asked her for a date, why don't you get through that first and see what will happen." Jennie replied. "How did you know about that?!?" Lisa asked with wide eyes. "You were talking in your sleep earlier Lili." Jennie answered while chuckling which added to Lisa's embarrassment.

Unbeknownst to them, JiU went to check on Lisa and witnessed the two of them hugging each other. She felt a sting seeing Lisa's hands on Jennie's waist and Jennie's on Lisa's neck. Wow, they look good together. Jiu thought as she slowly retracted her steps back to the dining room. "Where are they Jiu-ssi?" Jisoo asked. "Uh, they're on their way now." JiU replied as she went back to her seat. After a couple of minutes, Lisa and Jennie arrived at the dining room. "Hi guys!" Jennie greeted them. "Hello, Jennie-ssi/unnie!" The girls of Dreamcatcher greeted her. "Hi Jendeuk/unnie!" Jisoo and Rose greeted her.

While the two were getting seated, SuA noticed JiU's sudden quiet behavior. "You okay?" she asked. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." Jiu said while looking at Lisa and Jennie who were sitting beside each other. Seeing this, Sua smirked internally "Looks like someone's jealous." she thought.

"Ehem, Jennie-ssi."

"Yes unnie?"

"I have a question."

"What is it?"

"I'm just wondering, do you and Lisa have a past?"

"Past?

"Yeah, like, uh, how do you say this, hmmm. Were the both of you in a relationship?"

"Oh."

Jennie looked at Sua with wide eyes, as she was about to answer, Lisa butted in. "To be honest, we were ALMOST in a relationship. When we were trainees, I confessed about having a crush on her, I actually courted her and six months later, she told me she liked me too." Lisa said. "Yes, we dated for about a year but before making it official, we decided that we were better off as friends."

"What happened?" Yoohyeon asked.

"Nothing, during the course of us dating we both realized that what we were feeling was more on the platonic side, so rather than pushing through it, we decided to stop dating and just be sisters." Jennie said while looking at Lisa who was also smiling at her.

After hearing those, Jiu felt a relief in her chest. She took a silent sigh but it did not go unnoticed by Jennie. "I have to talk to her to avoid any miscommunication." Jennie thought.

The dinner was eventful, full of laughter and the usual bickering, Dreamcatcher was able to convince the Blackpink members to watch a movie before they go back to their respective homes. While the others were busy selecting a movie, JiU volunteered to prepare the snacks and drinks. "Jiu unnie, I'll go with you" Jennie said as she stood up from the couch. "Oh! Uh okay." Jiu replied, she was a bit flustered, since it would be the first time that she and Jennie would be together. They then decided to make sandwiches and juice along with some junk foods for later. While Jennie was mixing the juice, she said: "I saw your reaction unnie."

"My what?"

"Your reaction when we admitted that Lisa and I dated in the past."

"Oh! Uhhh..."

"You don't have to be jealous or worried about me unnie, yes I do love Lisa but only as a sister." Jennie said while smiling.

"And also, don't think that I don't know about your date, Lisa talks in her sleep you know." Jennie said as she winked at a clearly embarrassed Jiu. Jennie then went to Jiu's side and said: "I know that both of you like each other, why did you think I called you earlier?" Jennie asked in a teasing tone.

JiU could not help but blush furiously from what she heard. "So, you know that I have a crush on Lisa?" She asked. "I didn't at first, all I knew this morning was Lisa had a crush on you and she asked you on a date. I decided to call you just to tease Lisa, she's funny when she panics but when I heard your reaction when I said Lisa was sick, I had a hunch, and that hunch was confirmed earlier during dinner." Jennie answered as she picked up the juice, ready to go back to the rest of the girls. "Let's go?" she asked. ""Huh? Oh, okay." Jiu replied. They then went back to the living room where the rest of the girls were. Around 1am , the girls decided that it was time to leave.
