Yang Hyung Suk, founder of and CEO of YG Ent. steps down as the CEO of YG Ent.! This came after the series of scandals the company has faced throughout 2017 and 2018 that includes prostitution, gambling and threatening of employees. A few minutes after the announcement, Yang Hyung Suk also announced his successors, namely Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa, collectively known as the Global Superstars Blackpink are now the 4 new co-CEOs of YG Ent.

"It is our greatest honor to be named as the new CEOs of YG ent. The past few years have been a great challenge to the company and the four of us have decided to take this challenge head on to make sure the company overcomes it. This will take a while so we would also like to announce the group's official hiatus as we take steps to clear YG Ent. of all the accusations and bring it back to its former glory." Jisoo said in an interview

"Please continue showing YG and Blackpink lots of love and support as we take on this journey not only as artists but as CEOs, see you soon Blinks!" Lisa said in the same interview.

Two months passed since that announcement and the world is still in shock, in a span of 10 minutes, Yang Hyung Suk steps down and Blackpink took over YG which led to pandemonium not only in the entertainment business but also in the fandom, many were doubting the girls' capabilities to run the company since after the announcement and for two months, YG has been silent, no news, no new announcements, news companies were forbidden to even enter the premises of the company.

Breaking news!

YG Entertainment has announced that several of their shareholders have been terminated and will be filing lawsuits against the said shareholders. "Upon investigation, we have found out that the source of rumors and scandals we have faced was initiated by several of our shareholders in order to replace Yang Hyung Suk for their benefit." the spokesperson for YG said. "We would also like to announce that Kim Hanbin is back with iKon, his label 131 has been acquired by YG and is now a subsidiary. 131 label is now handling iKon in all of its promotions, collaborations among other things. Lee Seung Hyun or Seungri however, will not be returning to Big Bang after all of the lawsuits against him were cleared and dismissed." the spokesperson added.

These series of announcements were well received by the public, this gave YG fans hope of a better future for YG and has diminished the doubt Blackpink has faced regarding their CEO status.

Lisa POV

Because of that damn road widening, I am now late for my meeting with the new shareholders of YG. Walking as fast as I can, I bumped into several employees who were going about their work. After several apologies, I finally reached the conference room. "I'm so sorry I'm late! The road near my house was getting fixed!" I said as I entered the room. "Late as usual Lalisa, what can I expect of our maknae, even before you were always the one to oversleep." Jisoo teased. "Unnie! I'm telling the truth!" Lisa whined forgetting that the new shareholders were also in the room. One of the shareholders cleared her throat and said "ehem...Ms. Manoban.." making Lisa blush in embarrassment as she turned to where the voice came from. "Unnie!" Lisa said as she hugged the shareholder. "Chaerin unnie! It's been so long since I last saw you!" Lisa exclaimed. "Aish, this kid, how many times do I have to tell you to call me CL!" CL said. "Go to your seat and we will start the meeting." she said. As Lisa went to her seat she was able to see who the new shareholders were: Big Bang and 2ne1, Hanbin was also there and Teddy as CEOs of TheBlackLabel and 131 label. All of them are complete and are making light jokes with each other.

As Lisa was seated with the rest of Blackpink, Kwon Jiyong or GD or G-Dragon started to talk: "Good Morning everyone! And to our new CEOs, good morning, we will now start with the meeting. Here are a couple of proposals we have made in order for YG to start gaining leverage again in the industry."

All of them started to check on the folders, GD continued to explain the strategy: "for the rest of the first half of this year, we will continue to release new music for iKon Treasure and AKMU, we will also start collaborations, remember that one collab with Bobby, Hwiyoung and Sunwoo? We will give a go signal for that, make new revisions for full dash and a collab album for the three of them. For ikon, we will start the process of making their new full album as well as plan for their world tour. AKMU will also make another collaboration album with IU, Seulgi of Red Velvet and Solar of Mamamoo."

Before GD was able to go to the new topic, Lisa raised her hand. "Oppa, can you explain about the plans for 2020? It says here that we will start acquiring average to small entertainment companies." She asked. "Ah, yes, we will start looking for small and average sized entertainment companies and acquire rights to their artists." GD replied. "But why?" Lisa asked.

"Our big picture here is to further spread K-pop to the world, there are a bunch of small and average companies whose artists are unable to break into the mainstream even if they are all very talented. By acquiring their companies and making them our subsidiary, they will have that opportunity now that they are part of a bigger company, they will have more resources and budget for their music.

"We all know how cruel the entertainment world is." Dara chimed. "If you are not part of the big 4, you will have less to no opportunity to get into variety shows, interviews which in turn make less profit to keep the company floating. I think this is a good move to help talented artists get more leverage to have their name out there."

All of them nodded their heads in understanding. GD continued: "As for now, we don't have any company in mind, if you have one you can give us a call and we'll have a meeting to deliberate on it. That is it for now, how about you four, do you agree with the proposals?

"Yes!"

The meeting continued for another hour.

"Okay, for now we will continue to focus on the trainees, as well as start making music for iKon and AKMU, thank you everyone and have a good day!" GD ended the meeting. "And girls" GD called Blackpink. "Study about the proposals and if you have questions, you can always give me a call."

"Yes Oppa!"

After the meeting, the four of them went straight to their departments. They decided that each of them should focus on a different department so that it's less stressful. Jennie is the Head of Operations for YG KPlus, Jisoo is the Head of Operations for YG Stage, Rose is the Head of the music department and Lisa is the Head of YGX. Once a month, the four of them will have a meeting to discuss issues with the departments and look for ways to resolve them. This has been their strategy ever since they were trainees and it always resolves any issues.
