Demon Slayer as Babies! || KNY Aka-chan!

Realizing What's Happened

(Note: All babies are around the age of 2, except Muichiro who is about a year old)

Sanemi

This little one wouldn't realize what's happened until he tries to speak. Then it would make sense why you looked so shocked. 

With his new emotional instability he'd begin bawling, fat angry tears rolling down his cheeks in confusion.

 You'd have to console him with lots of hushed words and very likely a hug before he calms down

Giyuu

He would notice the moment his sword left his hand and try his best to be strong about it. 

That is until, he trips over a fold of cloth trying to get to you. Then the shock, pain and confusion from it all would crash down on him. 

Definitely a cry-er. Not full out bawling like Sanemi but more of tears and sniffles.

 He 100% would need a tight warm hug and series of headpats to calm down

Mitsuri

Aww, this cutie <3. She'd be crying the moment she changed, confused as to why the world was suddenly so much bigger and why the ground was so much closer.

She probably wouldn't need a tight hug exactly, but would still really, really like one. She'd be much easier to calm down and explain the situation to than Giyuu and Sanemi, beaming smiles at you once you finish

Obanai

He would definitely be the most fumy of them. His cheeks suddenly tainted red in embarrassment that a blood demon art would reduce him, a Hashira, to a mere infant

He'd barely shed any tears, mostly steaming and pouting, refusing to meet your eyes

He would initially reject your attempts at petting him or consoling him, preferring Kaburamaru to anything else

Eventually he'd realize how helpless he really was. He couldn't even walk properly! With a lot of coaxing he finally let you carry him home

A few tears would slip in his frustration and as you wiped them away with care, he couldn't leaning into your embrace just a bit more

Kyojuro

This fireball would be more surprised than anything. You'd both meet each other's shocked eyes, realization dawning on you at the same time

He'd readily accept your hug though, smiling throughout your whole explanation not bothered by it a bit

Deep down though he wishes he was in a more independent situation somehow feeling like he's being a form of hindrance to you and does his best to make things as easy on you as possible

Tengen

Tengen would be your exact definition of a very pissed baby. The nerve of that demon! If he could still hold his (suddenly very heavy) swords, it's head would've been long gone!

He'd go on an actual rage, babbling incoherent curses in baby tongue while you sweat dropped in the background

When he finally calmed down though and turned around to meet your eyes he would simply flash a flamboyant grin as though none of what you'd just witnessed had happened.

He'd also readily accept your offers of assistance, enjoying the attention far more than he ought to and requesting your help for the simplest of things.

Muichiro

He would fall asleep as soon as the blood demon art hit him.

You'd immediately panic and rush to the scene wondering if he had disappeared, just to find a fluff of black to turquoise hair sticking out of his Hashira uniform

In this scenario the shock is completely one sided. Muichiro was now an infant, and you had to handle it

Needless to say he didn't exactly refuse or accept your assistance in getting back home

If (and when) he woke up along the way, he would be visibly upset, pouting and sniffling with a sullen expression, keeping his gaze downcast.

He appreciated it when you actually began patting his back with soothing words, though. Eventually it sent him swiftly back to sleep

Shinobu

Shinobu would cry a few tears in shock, but quickly wipe them away doing her best to smile up at you and it warmed your heart.

She was the one affected and yet she was trying to reassure you

You'd pat her head and try to explain things a bit when you'd notice her lips trembling a bit. It was then you realized she was holding herself and told her it was okay to cry

Then and only then would she release it all. Tears slipping while you hold her as  if saying 'Let it all out, I'm not going anywhere'  which she appreciated more than she could say (both metaphorically and figuratively)

She'd accept your help with a smile, still irked by that demon and silently swearing revenge on it. All in all, she'd enjoy the attention, clinging a tad bit tighter to your haori than needed on the way back
