Aonung cried watching the sullys put Neteyam to rest, his grip tightened on Tsireya's arm as he tried to keep himself calm, They had become closer in the time the sullys were there but no one knew just how close they were, Lo'ak was the only one who actually knew because he happened to see it, Aonung and Lo'ak came to an agreement that Lo'ak keep his mouth shut and Aonung wont complain about him and Tsireya.

He felt Tsireya touch his arm gripping back tightly in tears Aonung kept his eyes forward on his lovers body, they had not mated because they were too young they wanted to tell there parents about them after a few years and get permission to mate, but Aonung realized that wouldn't happen now as he stared at the water the luminescent yellow on his face he locked eyes with Lo'ak who quickly looked away feeling he couldnt face Aonung after what happened.

Aonungs eyes shifted to the rest of the sully family in tears he watched Kiri trying her best to be strong for her family, Neytiri's voice echoing as she sang, Aonung couldnt handle it anymore, He squeezed Tsireya's arm lightly pushing her hand off his arm and turned away wiping his eyes walking away.

Tsireya watched as he left she didn't understand but knew it was best to just let him go she looked down and back to Lo'ak sadly He just nodded slowly and looked back to his brother under the water feeling himself choke as he started to think about what happened, that if it was his fault even though everyone was saying it wasnt he felt responsible.

Aonung walked along the beach near the water feeling the waves crash against his legs he was still thinking about Neteyam he just didnt want anyone to see him if he started sobbing, no one knew they were lovers that was the choice they both made The chiefs son and Toruk Makto's son who would have thought of that? Aonung was the heir he couldn't be with another male the people wouldn't accept that.

His eyes trailed the sand as he walked he liked being alone but right now he only wanted one person, a person he couldn't and would never have. Aonung stopped and turned to the ocean slowly as he started walking into the water.

He stopped and turned looking back to the burial reefs he couldnt deny the thought of joining his lover crossed his mind but he didnt want to be like that, not yet he still had more to life he shook his head and left the ocean going back to his family pod.

He sat on the floor and stayed there zoning out for what felt like hours before he heard a light knocking sound He looked up and saw Tsireya and Rotxo, He looked back down as they walked in and sat next to him "Ao.." Tsireya started but stopped when she saw the look on her brothers face.

Rotxo didnt know what to do "It'll be ok Aonung..we're here for you, you can talk to us if you need.." He said quietly making sure Aonung knew his friends cared they knew he was close to Neteyam so the death of his friend upset him they didnt know how long this would last though.

Tsireya gently hugged her brother, he just stared behind her from her shoulder Rotxo joined the hug and Aonung felt his emotions bubbling as the tears started to fall again he slowly gripped them both while trying to hold his tears, unsuccessfully as his quiet cries caught his sisters attention as she hugged tighter and he sobbed.

Rotxo put a hand on his back as Tsireya started to tear up again remembering everything Neteyam said that day, how he wanted to go home, she cried hearing her brother cry, Rotxo had tears streaming as he readjusted and hugged them both.

The trio sat there and cried for hours before calming down, Aonung wiped Tsireya's tears and she did his, and Rotxo looked out of the pod at the sky he wasn't as close with Neteyam as the other two but he still thought of him as his friend, His mind went to Kiri wondering how she was doing with the loss of her brother.

Aonung had fallen asleep a few minutes after, Tsireya covered him and touched his face "He will always be with you" She mumbled as she got up and went to Rotxo who said he was going to go back home Tsireya nodded waving him goodbye as she went and sat next to Aonung again and layed beside him hugging him for comfort as she did when they were younger.

They both fell asleep with puffed eyes.
