"Scout..." A voice called out. The man staring down at Scout furrowed his eyebrows. He then cleared his throat. "HEY SCOUT, GET UP."

"Wagh!" Scout called out, getting up. He looked around, in his room. He then looked at the man in his room, who was staring at him with his peircing brown eyes. Scout blinked. "Oh man, A," He spoke, running a hand through his hair. "I had this terrible dream, that something fucked up happened to me,"

"Is that so?" A replied. He sighed, as he got up. "I'm going to guess that Spy had hit on you again, yes?"

"What!?!" Scout started. "What kind of sick thoughts are happening in your he-"

"Well, Solider sent me to get you, since you know, you slept in. Again," A replied. Scout grumbled, as he then sighed.

"Gods, I'm sorry, A, 'kay?" Scout said. "You don't always need to be that grumpy, you're almost as bad as Spy,"

"Almost," A replied. Scout looked at him. Just a bit shorter than him, A was a new member of their team. He was older than Scout by multiple years, being thirty years old. You could tell who he was with his round face and black hair which he slicked to the side with some hair gel. From the two weeks he had known him, he was grumpy, stingy, and very serious about his work as a mercenary. Always wearing his round black rimmed glasses, he always seemed like he had something on his mind.

Scout groaned, as he rolled off the bed and onto the ground. This was useless, he was never goign to get along with the new member...

"Scout...Scout get up..." A voice called out, shaking the sleeping boy. Scout eye's then shoot opened, as he swatted away the hand of the one and only Medic.

"GOD DAMN IT, ACE, I'M FUCKING AWAKE, STOP WAKING ME UP EVERY MORNING," Scout yelled angrily. Medic sat there, surprised by Scout's sudden outburst.

"..."

"..."

"Are you okay?" Medic questioned.

"I-I'm fine," Scout replied.

"Who is Ace?" Medic questioned, confused. Scout frowned.

"I-I really don't know.... I think I was just dreaming some nonsense or somin' like that," Scout replied. "You know how dreams can be..."

"...Scout..." Medic started.

"What?" Scout questioned.

"We're about to leave for our first battle," Medic said. "We're all waiting in the van,"

"....SHIT WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER!?!" Scout questioned, as he jumpped out of the bed and started getting his clothes on. As soon as he was changed, he grabbed his trusty Force of Nature, Winger, and Sandman.

"We gotta go, Doc," Scout said, as he ran out of the room.

"Wait, you forgot your medicine!" Medic yelled, as he then grabbed Scout's pill bottle, and took one out. He then caught up to the other eight mercinaries in the car. As soon as Medic entered the van, Heavy then stepped on the gas pedal, and the vechicle was off driving into the desert.

Medic wondered through out his whole car ride. Had Scout skipped taking his pill at one point? No, he couldn't of, because he pestered him every day about it. Luckily, Scout only assumed it was a stupid dream. Maybe the medicine was not strong enough. But, if he made the medicine stonger, then Scout could overdose by just taking more than two a day.

"Doc?" Scout questioned, Medic turning to face the younger male. He sighed.

"You forgot your medicine," Medic said, giving him the pill. "Take this,"

"Oh, thanks doc," Scout said, as he then swollowed it whole. Medic looked at him, and frowned a bit.

"I'm sorry, Scout," He muttered to himself, as he then turned his attention back to the road.
