Bonding Unfamiliar Families

He walked into an ambush. Alec thought the office was empty and all the lights where off. As he inched into the office he saw his fathers phone lit up it was in his hand. He ran over to the chair turning it around. His dad was out cold.

Which means someone else must be inside with him. Alec saw a glimpse of light in the reflection of the window. When a stun grenade went off blinding him. The smog was super thick. Alec stood up as his sight came to clearer he saw the first guy. He started to fight them offf one by one. It was different they all came in as if they were trying to distract him. He thought everyfight was lengthy and then he heard shots they were off in teh distance. But he knew instantly they were after Ivy.

"Alec?" Kane said in a monotone voice.

Kane got up out of the chair and pulled the syringe out his neck he threw it on the floor.

"Dad sit down you were drugged," Alec stated.

"Im not sitting back down I am going to help. It has been years since you called me dad. If it is because of that girl then I owe her a big thanks," Kane responded.

"Ivy," Alec corrected him.

They both started to take the fighters down until they got into the main entrance. They walked out into the open where their were soldiers surrounding them. It was going to take a hot minute to take them all out.

"I think we got them all!" Kane stated.

Thats when he was hit from behind and fell to the ground.

"Dad," Alec yelled as the next syringe hit him.

Alec was carried out and transported to the Lucario family home. He woke up tide to the wall in what looked to be a old cellar.

Kane woke up and could barely move he tryed to find Alec but he couldn't. When he was able to move he was so dizzy everything was a blurr he needed hydration. So he cleared the house. And grabbed his phone to call Christian. He dialed Christian as he drank water but everything went dark again until Christian and Braxton found him passed out.

When Ivy called Kane for help he knew she was not going to stop so he helped her. She kept him in the loop where she was headed. He decided it was time to fix his mistakes. So he told Alice to watch the kids and he was going to help Ivy.

He made it to Alec's house before her. Kane parked in the garage to keep his car out of the way. He knew what Ivy would need and where to find all the equipment. Alec was alot like Kane in ways he did not realize. He had his own office and it was organized like his mother would organize her study.

Kane set up Alec's computer and gathered new head equipment. Ivy showed up a couple minutes after Kane got the wifi back online. They had old software that Kane used when he ran the business.

When Ivy arrived she went straight to the office. After Kane set up the headset he gave her the ear piece that worked coincided with the headset. Kane liked Ivy's work drive it made him question why he never let Vexy work with him more. He knew out of all his decisions keeping Vexy out of his work was one of the best decisions he ever made.

Ivy still needed a plan but she could not come up with one that would get everyone out safely. She knew Brooke and Conner were good at fighting but with the amount of people they were going against it was close to impossible. Everyone would be caught by the time she got there. Ivy new that Braxton and Christian would end up right with Alec. Their ego's would not help. Kane watched her contemplate all the thoughts and options that ran through her head.

Each plan they came up with had it's own ups and downs. Nothing seemed like it would give them a chance to get everyone out alive. Ivy needed to see with her own eyes what and who she was up against.

"The more time we use to think about our options is taking time away from their survival. I have no idea what I'm getting myself into," Ivy confessed.

"Well, the boys should be on their way inside now. Knowing their ability to work together they will get caught sooner rather than later," Kane stated.

"I have an idea," Ivy stated running out the door.

She turned her earpiece on as she ran outside. Ivy's would need to use what she had Kane and Alec's Credability. She had Kane send the email address of the gang group chat he was the mediator of. They wanted Kane back as a boss but he declined so she gave them one better Alec. A younger prospect Alec wanted to keep Ivy's safe and that could not happen if he was not alive. All the gang leaders around wanted someone that knew how to keep the peace. They needed someone they could trust. Kane vowed he had left the the mafia to Alice. Alec vowed to Ivy he would stay out of the mafia and keep her safe.

He made the decision in her best interest without thinking of the what ifs. She had a choice to make either lose the love of her life or call in favors from everyone around and take down the biggest mafia family in the country. If they showed up she would now they really believed in Alec. If they for some reason decided not to she just got everyone killed. But when Ivy told kane her plan he agreed that this offer would be the best. The only problem was that they would need to believe it was her. So he signed his name to verify who she was.

Kane had Ivy's software so he could see everything Tyler and Theo would see. But he also had his old software which he used to keep up with Ivy. Ivy ditched Alec's bike off to the side of the road setting it in a bush. She got close enough to the gate without being caught she could see all the guards.

Ivy had to give the mafia board time to see her message. Then she would  have to wait for their arrival. She staked out while listening to Kane. He watched as his kids slowly got chained up one by one. Conner and Brooke were caught first. They had split into two teams and Vexy ended staying back at the warehouse.

Christian and Braxton were caught last but they put up a huge fight. Braxton took out five armed men as Christian went ahead. He made it closer to the stairwell but he could only go down and they had him surrounded.

"Ivy?" Kane asked.

"Yes, What's wrong," she replied.

She could hear his voice change. Ivy never had a normal conversation with Kane like she has with Alice but she could hear in his voice the worry.

"Well you know how we believed that the Lucario family was coming for revenge of the Lucario twins death?" he asked.

"Yeah?" Ivy questioned.

"The problem is Adrian and Asher, they are alive. The family is nowhere to be found it is just the two of them. But there is some good news, my son called you his fiance" he stated.

Ivy's thoughts and memories of that night came gushing through her mind. She said, "Well, when we rescue them all I guess we have a wedding to plan. Have Tyler, Theo and everyone else come to you in case we need extra help. I'm going in," she stated.

She now knew that everyone was in greater danger. The Lucario brothers must have bottled up anger. With Alec in there he would take all the fault. The problem is Alec would not let anyone else take the fall he would die if she did not get in there. She needed to get in there. They had to be angrier with her. It technically was her fault they got busted in the first place.

Kane replied, "But we don't even know if the other families are going to send in help. Just wait a little longer. He can hold his own they all can."

Kane knew she was right. The anger they had built up would be released and It would kill Alec first. But he also knew Alec would never forgive him if he let Ivy go in without trying to stop her.

"See you on the other side," Ivy replied.
