"It's no big deal it's no trouble, please take care of yourself!" The lady says grabbing the little girls hand and walking out of the store
And at that Xiao turns the corner arms crossed leaning on the shelf with narrow eyes.
"Okay, what the hell was that." Xiao deadpans
"I'm not sure.. I dunno what came over me— I'll clean it up though!" Y/N quickly throws out
"I'm not concerned about that Y/N, I mean what was the whole episode thing. Are feeling okay? When did you last sleep?"
"It's literally fine— and also I'm sleeping!" Y/N retorts, sure she felt guilty for worrying her friend, but they aren't a child! (i almost spelt childe JSJSJ)
"Okay, then answer me this." starts, getting up from his stance and walk over to Y/N with each step being taken Y/N inching further away
Sure, Xiao is Y/N's friend and wouldn't hurt them! But doesn't mean he isn't at least a LITTLE intimidating
"Since when did you start going all googly eyes over new girl? You've barely even met her." Xiao finishes crossing his arms in a "told you so" tone.
"WHAT?— How'd you even come to that conclusion, that's not even true!" Y/N tries to protest, but her face being bright red wasn't helping much.
"You should assume things Xiao, I'm not all googly eyes!" Y/N continues with her hands on her hips forgetting about the mess around her.
"Mkayy, totally." Xiao says rolling his eyes walking over to the small cleaning supply closet reminding Y/N of the mess that surrounds them.

"So how long have you even actually known her?" Xiao says taking a spoonful of his tofu,
It was Y/N and Xiao's lunch break and Xiao wanted to know every detail of Y/N's little crush on her co-worker, it's not that he didn't trust Y/N's judgement.. they can just race into things a bit fast, get a bit ahead of herself!
"Okay yeah, I guess it's a small crush it's been.. I'd say 2 1/2 weeks?" You say hesitating.
"Seriously Y/N? You need to stop getting so ahead of yourself— you barely even know her!"
"Know who?"
Yoimiya tilts her head walking into the back room and sitting down next to the two.
"OH— Am I interrupting?" Realizing the tension in the room.
"Nope!" "Yes."
Y/N and Xiao say at the same time, shooting daggers at each other.
"No don't worry you aren't!" Y/N quickly blurts
Before Xiao could protest Y/N starts, "So how was your shift Yoimiya! Anything new?"
"Well, if you're super curious there was this one old couple..."

"... and then you'll NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!" Yoimiya continues for the rest of the 30 minute break, barely taking a breath with the only under sounds being the "Oooh!"s and a occasional "mhm!" or "Really?" from Y/N
Then Yoimiyas rant was interrupted by the door swinging and Lisa standing menacingly with her arms crossed over her chest
"Yoimiya, Y/N, Xiao.. your lunch ended FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO.. we have a line!" Lisa said as electric tension filled the room
"Woops.. sorry Ms. Lisa its my f- " Yoimiya starts but Y/N cuts her off
"Sorry Lisa, I was holding them back." Y/N says making Yoimiya turn to her in confusion and Xiao roll his eyes
"Just get back to work.." Lisa sighs and you along with your best friend and new found friend make your way towards the door.
Before you can walk away though Lisa starts, "Not you Y/N, I need to talk to you in my office." she says.
'well shit..'
"Okay..!" Y/N says swallowing her pride and stopping dead in their tracks.
Yoimiya pauses for a moment and shoots you a 'sorry!' face, and Xiao doesn't bat an eye,

ANOTHER CLIFF HANGER, sorry couldn't help it! this chapters more shorter then usual but I gotta wrap it up since something BIG is gonna happen text chapter, dw it will totally make up for this one being short! i hope think.
