As you landed on the Dragonpit you started to feel really nervous. You were going to see your family for the first time in years. You grabbed Aemma as she jumped from the saddle into your awaiting arms.
Aerion and Karnax landed sloppily next to you, your sons had never flown such a distance before and they seemed jumpy but happy.
"How was the flight?" you asked them, as Aemma walked before you looking at the huge building in awe, with her little mouth wide open. So did your sons
"It was great mom"
"That house for the dragons is huge!"
"Dragon Pit!" you corrected
"It's huge!, can we go in?" a carriage was waiting for you, so you shook your head
"You can ask your cousins and uncles to bring you next"
"Oh, alright", you had to take a huge part of a day explaining the family tree of your closest family, since they had uncles that had their age approximately, but cousins too
You encouraged them to get into the carriage, where Harwin was waiting.
Your hand started trembling and you thanked the gods that Harwin was a sensitive man, you immediately realized it and grabbed your hand tightly, reassuringly.
The kids were being like... well... kids, their head off the carriage windows at all times, they wanted to see the city, even though you warned them it might be dangerous, they did it anyway. And harwin giggled at your side

"Regar, Mekar, look!" Aemma giggled, pointing at the huge castle seat to the Targaryen Dynasty

And you laughed when you realized they were probably waving at the royal party that was supposed to receive you. Yes you were grateful for the magnificent years you had to raise your little family in the country, they were innocent, and good little people.
