His legs almost gave out when he landed in the Dragonpit. Vhagar was whining continuously, her neck was really messed up, it was a wonder Vhaelar didn't manage to decapitate her. Vhagar rested her head on the floor, and Aemond left her in the care of the dragon masters.
Aemond entered the keep, shaking, clothes still soaked and clinging into him like the crippling guilt that was clawing at his chest.
He entered the castle with one direction in mind, he sat in a chair in the small council meeting, it was the middle of the night, but he had to wait until the morning to meet everyone
