This is the first book that I ever wrote. It was published through Christian Faith Publishing and is available for purchase on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and the Christian Faith Publishing website. It started out as a bucket list kind of thing. I have always loved reading a good wholesome love story and would critique them as I read, changing this or that in my mind as to how I would have had the character react in that moment. (I did the same thing with music videos) One day, I decided to make my own story. I was amazed how quickly the characters became real to me. I didn't have to ponder how they would respond to certain situations. I just knew instantly, and the words flew across the pages of my ratty notebook. I loved the process and was sad when it was over. I had a few friends read it, and they boosted my confidence enough to send it to a publishing company, not really believing it would be accepted. But it was! When I finally held my story in the physical, I knew I wanted to write more. Flash forward some years after settling down from raising my third child out of the infant/toddler stages, I finally found the time to get back to it. That's when I came across Wattpad. It is an amazing way to write the stories itching to get out of my head without the expense of publication! At the beginning of this year, I launched my first Wattpad story: Harvest of Love. I'm anxiously waiting for more than just family and friends to read it and give me feedback. If you have not read it yet, please, please, please give it a try. As I mentioned earlier, I love a good wholesome love story that will still give you that butterfly in the stomach feeling without being too graphic. To me, it is just so much more fun to leave room for your own imagination to go to work. I also try to be realistic with my characters. They will go through some hard times AND react in not so perfect ways, just like we do, but I am a sucker for a happy ending. I want to close a book with a smile on my face (or a happy tear in my eye). There is so much unpleasantness in the world that I don't want to add to it. I believe all things can eventually work for good with the right perspective/guidance. You just don't give up until you find it. With all that said, I hope you enjoy this story. Remember, it is my first, so I will need lots of grace.

Much love,

Serena Melton
