Chapter 11: His gift to me

Natsu P.O.V

I woke up feeling the suns rays against my cheek. I rubbed my eyes and looked around me.

Oh yeah... i slept at Lucy's last night.

I felt something against my chest move, and when I looked down, there she was.

I must have climbed into her bed last night! I better move before she wakes up and kicks me out.

I slowly moved back, but as I did she wrapped her arms around me.

Great....

I couldnt get out of her grip, so I decided to lie back down again. She looked so peaceful and beautiful as she slept. A piece of her hair fell infront of her face so I moved it.

Her eyes fluttered open. She just stared at me.

"Good morning!" I said giving her my famous grin.

"Natsu."

"Yes?!" I said smiling.

"What... the hell... are YOU DOING IN MY BED!!!!"

Yup... things are back to normal alright.

Lucy P.O.V

"Come at me fire breath!" Gray shouted.

"You asked for it!" Natsu shouted back.

Dear mom

Things have gone back to the way they were. Natsu and Gray going at each other, kind of gives me peace... knowing things will never change.... But, that's the thing, I'm still scared. Its been, well... literally a month since the holiday at the beach. I have a feeling somethings going to happen... that we won't be ready for, and of course I have talked to Natsu about it.

I'm really in love with him. Sure, we still have our disagreements, but I know he cares about me. I don't know what I would do with out him... I-

"Awe, I dunno either."

I quickly hide away the letter and frowned at Natsu, "Don't read over my shoulder like that!"

He chuckled and patted my head, "You are so gullable Luce."

I found myself smilling , but quickly covered my blushing cheeks. Once again he chuckled, and leand down, "Are you doing anything tonight?" He asked me, almost in a half whisper.

"Uh, no I don't think so." I replied.

"Perfect, meet me by the tree. You know, the big one by the harbour."

I looked up confused, "Uh, yeah. Why?"

"Its a surprise. Wear something pretty."

And with that he walked away, out of the guild doors.

Well that was weird? I wonder what he's planning....

"Hey Lucy!"

Hearing Levy call my name, I make my way towards her and sit down.

"Do you wanna go out for dinner with the girls tonight?" She asked.

"I would love to Levy, but Natsu has something planned tonight."

She giggled, "Ooo.. I wonder what it is! You two are so cute!"

"To be honest, I'm really scared." I laughed

She laughed back, "I wouldn't blame you, I mean come on.... this is Natsu we are talking about!"

We both giggled. I spent the rest of my day at the guild hanging out with the gang, and surprisingly Natsu didn't come back once through out the day. When it got to about 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon, I headed home to get ready for... for whatever Natsu had planned. I showered, and put on a purple dress that went past my knees. I let down my hair and made it wavy. While I was getting ready, I felt like today was an important day, but I couldn't remember why?
