Chapter 15 - danger

Our train finally came and I stood next to Mindy, Ethan actually kept his distance but he stared at me. As we went in I gasped and saw other people dressed in ghost-face costumes.

Mindy squeezed my hand and we both went to the end of the train. The lights kept flickering and Mindy kept looking around in fright.

I was also terrified but I tried to think positively, I just didn't understand why people wore these costumes!

I then remembered the kiss I shared with one of them and I facepalmed.

There were about five of these costumes with us and Mindy kept staring at them. She glared from the other side as Ethan was looking at us.

I locked eyes with him and he waved at us, Mindy rolled her eyes and I waved back at Ethan. His expression seemed different but I wasn't sure.

Mindy's phone dinged and a text message popped up, thankfully it was Chad. Mindy started to reply and I leaned my head back.

I started to stare at Ethan and his eyes.. I just couldn't explain it. He looked like something bad was on his mind.

We locked eyes again and both just sat in silence, I finally looked away in embarrassment and the lights flickered again.

Mindy tried to get reception but the signal was bad, "y/n, is your reception working?" She questioned and I pulled out my phone.

When I took a look at it something was wrong, it wouldn't turn on and I swear it was charged. "Uh, my phone isn't working.." Mindy leaned in and raised a brow.

There was a next stop and a guy in a Ghostface costume came close, I jumped and dropped my phone. "Shit!" I yelled and the guy apologized.

Mindy grabbed my hand and we went to the other side, Ethan got closer to us but still kept his distance.

She sighed in relief and I held my breath. Ethan looked at us again and turned towards me. "Are you okay?" He mouthed and I shook my head.

Mindy gave him a stink eye and held me closer, the lights started to flicker again and Mindy's eyes were left on someone.

Once again the lights flickered again and someone pulled me away, I tried to scream but their hand covered my mouth.

The lights were on again and Ethan got close to me, I saw he pulled me away from Mindy. "Ethan! Stop I gotta go back to Mindy" I said.

He glared at me, "and what? How is she going to protect you" I stopped and he held me close, our chests were barely touching at this point.

The lights flickered once more, "Ethan I assure you I'm fine, you don't need to protect me.." he laughed and I raised a brow.

"That's funny because I saw how scared you are y/n.. especially when that fuck over there scared you in that costume" he pointed towards the guy and I signed.

I couldn't find Mindy and the next stop came, "I'm not letting you go y/n.. I won't let some guy kill you just because of.." he stopped, and I was once confused again.

"What are you talking about?" Ethan looked at the floor but looked at me, instead of saying anything he grabbed my chin and kissed me once more.

Little did I know Mindy was freaking out..

I kissed Ethan back and he held my waist with his other. His hand went from my waist then to my ass.. "Ethan.." I whispered, "people are gonna see us.." he groaned.

"So? I don't care.. let them watch" he kissed me passionately and went to my neck. He saw the hickeys and he smirked against my neck.

"Ethan.. I have to get back to Mindy" I whispered once more and he started to analyze my hickeys from Ghost face.

The lights flickered again and he went right back into it, ignoring my request.

Ethan squeezed my ass while making love bites on my neck. The voice from the train said 'next stop' and I realized it was time to get off.

Ethan signed in annoyance and our noses were touching. He smirked and I was sweating, "god I can't lose you y/n" he whispered.

Everyone started to leave and we both tried to find Mindy, as I looked over I saw Mindy holding her stomach.

"Mindy!" We both ran to her and Mindy was winching in pain. "Fuck!" Ethan groaned and I applied pressure to Mindy's stomach.

"Help somebody help!" Ethan yelled and everyone looked confused. Some gasped and others ran away quickly.

"We gotta get you outta here okay!" Ethan said nervously and I helped her up. Mindy screamed as she held Ethan's neck.

"Come on!" She put her arms around our necks and we helped her stand. "Someone call 911!" I cried out and there were whispers.

Some people picked up their phones and I started to cry, "your gonna be okay Mindy!" I yelled and she leaned back.

"Oh my god.."

"Are you okay!"

"Yeah I'm so good.." she sarcastically said and Ethan panted. "you're gonna be okay you're gonna be okay.." he repeated I looked around for help while applying pressure still.

Mindy glared at Ethan, "god damn it, I got it wrong again what the fuck.." assistance finally came in and checked on Mindy. I sighed in relief, then remembered Sam and Tara.

"Ethan stay with Mindy!" I yell he looked confused but nodded. I ran from the train station straight to the theater.

They were in danger.
