I slurp my noodles again, and my friends start laughing at me. I wipe the sauce off my face and laugh as well.

"The five thrive." Chad holds out his hand.

I burst into giggles, "Don't ever say that again!" I beg.

"What? Why!"

"Cause it's awful." Mindy giggles.

Tara laughs, "Seriously."

I hear noises coming from Quinn's room and my eyes widen, "Looks like Quinn is having a little fun in there." I laugh.

My friends laugh to, and then I get a notification. I see it's from Quinn and I furrow my eyebrows, I open the message and gasp.

"Shit!" Chad yells.

Then the door bursts open and Mindy gets tackled to the floor. Quinn's body lands on the floor with blood everywhere. The killer stabs Mindy in the shoulder and she lets out a screech. I see Ethan pick up the lamp and hit the guy over the head. The killer falls to the floor and Mindy immediately gets up.

"I can't believe I was wrong again!" She sucks air through her teeth.

I see Anika get pinned against the wall, the killer stabs her and she screams again. I tackle him, pinning him on the floor. He takes the knife and stabs my thigh. It's always the fucking thigh! Kinsley rushes over hitting him with one of her history books. He turns to her, stabbing her left shoulder, and then in her stomach.

"Get off her!" Claire screams, hitting the killer with a pan.

"Get to the room!" I scream.

Ethan helps me up, basically carrying me to the bedroom. He sets me on the bed, closing the bathroom door and pushing Quinn's dresser in front of it. I hold my leg, tears streaming down my face. Ethan takes one of Quinn's old flannels and wraps it around my thigh. I wince as he tightens the shirt.

"Sam go!" Mindy yells.

"No you guys need to go first!"

"We'll be right behind you!" Ethan yells, "Hurry!"

Sam reluctantly climbs onto the ladder making her way over. Then Mindy, Claire, Rylie, and Ethan.

"Addie you have to go!" Kinsley helps me to the ladder.

I climb onto the ladder, trying my best not to look down. When I do, I freeze.

"Addie! Addie come on!" Sam screams.

"Addie let's go!" Claire yells.

Ethan's eyes meet mine, "Addie look at me. Okay! Just look at me!"

I gulp, climbing all the way to the end. Ethan helps me down, holding me in his arms.

"Anika come on!" Mindy begs.

"I can't!" She screams.

I look behind her and see the killer behind Kinsley, "Kinsley behind you!" I scream.

But it's to late. The killer has slit her throat and she falls to the floor. I scream, watching as Anika tried to climb her way over. The killer sticks his knife in the wood frame and places both hands on the side of the ladder.

"Anika!" Sam screams.

Mindy starts to cry, "Anika you have to go!"

"I can't!" She cries, and then the killer shakes the ladder.

I scream, holding out my hand for Anika, "Come on! Grab my hand!" I yell at her.

Anika reaches for my hand, but the killer tilts the ladder, sending her to the ground. I scream falling to the ground and crying. Ethan rushes to my side, holding me in his arms.

What the fuck just happened?

I stare at the ground, no emotion in me at all. I wipe my tears, looking up to see Ethan getting his arm bandaged. Then I look over to see Tanner walking to the scene. Rage sets in me and I limp over to him.

"Hey want hap-" I cut him off with a punch.

"Addie!" Ethan yells, pulling me back from him.

I start to cry, "You did this!" I scream, "Your the killer!"

"Addie what the hell are you talking about?" Tanner holds his face, "I had a date!"

"So what it's just a coincidence, you weren't here last night and my sister almost gets killed?" Chad asks.

Tanner scoffs, "I had a date! You can ask her!" Tanner turns to Mindy, and tries to walk over to her.

"Stay the fuck back." She spits, he backs up a bit, "You're at the top of my list."

Tanner gulps and I just glare at him. Ethan walks me over and sits me on the ambulance. I have my eye on Tanner, but Ethan shifts my head to where I'm looking at him.

"Listen, I love you and all but-"

"Wait huh?" I stop him, "What'd you just say?" I raise one of my eyebrows with a smile.

He gulps, "I love you." He states more confidently, "I love you a lot."

I look down at the ground and smile, "I love you to Ethan."

"Really?" He asks.

I nod, "Really."
