Reagan

  It is weird not having Sky home. He’s on his way to Chicago for his first show. I do miss him and I know the kids do too. They are already three months old. We are on our way to work. I’m bringing the twins with me since I can.

Walking in with the stroller and their diaper bag I meet Shane at the counter.

“ good morning Mr.King.” He greets

“ Shane how many times do I have to tell you it’s just Reagan.” I say with a smile.

“ I know just a habit. They are getting so big.” He says coming around the counter to see them.

“ they are to fast for me though.” I say with a smile on my face.

“ well I’ll let you get to work.” He says going to to his job answering phones. I wave at him while I head to the elevator. On the way up I hear one of Sky’s song play and I had a smile on my face.

“ this song is really good I wonder who sings it?” One lady asked her friend.

“ Sky King and the song is called since I met you.” I say

“ He puts so much emotion into this song. The girl must be lucky.” She says. Apparently she didn’t know but her friend seemed too.

“ it’s about his husband and his husband’s name is Reagan King.” She said

“ I wish I could meet him.” She says.

“ Hi nice to meet you I’m Reagan King.” I say with a grin.

“ oh my god you are!” She squeals. The elevator dings and I get out with my twins.

I walk to the studio and open the door.

“Hey Skylar.” I greet as I walk in.

“ there’s  my grand babies.” He says as he lifts RJ and kisses his head.

“ I can tell they are missing their papa.” Skylar says.

“ They are but watch this.” I replied

I put a USB in the computer and clicked on  Iris. My kids know that’s their papa. They are cooing and kicking their feet.

“ You know that’s papa don’t ya baby girl.” I say to her as I kisss her head.

“ How are you holding up?” Skylar asked. I took a deep breath  then answer.

“ I’m doing ok. I miss him so much but he’s doing something so amazing. I wont ever take that away.” I say

“ I know it’s hard with me always away to other states or countries with producing or Skylynn doing her modeling. We wouldn’t see each other for months.” He says

“ it’s just that since this happened I know there are gonna be back lash for this and I don’t want him slipping back into depression. I know there are gonna be people out there who will say he didn’t deserve this because he didn’t work for it, you know?” I asked

“ I do know he’s had that most of his life people either wanted to be his friend to gain fame and others bullied him because they think he gets everything handed to him. Ok sometimes yes he did but he also worked for it. Like the car he and Blue has. I bought them that for their eighteenth birthday. They also got valedictorian.” He says. My poor Sky had to deal with these jerks. I am so proud of him though.

“ I know you and mom are proud of all of them.” I say with a smile.

“ we are and I don’t care what people think Sky has earned this. He’s gonna do amazing things.” Skylar says.
