Chapter 1: we meet

I pull the reigns to slow down Queenie as I arrive here in small heath.
I jumped down from her, picked up my dress because it dragged a bit, hiding in my clock as I walked through the streets of Birmingham, holding tightly onto Queen Reigns.
As I turn the corner, I bump into someone
"Oh, I'm so sorry."I started to stutter when a calming voice spoke to me

"Oh, it's alright, love, are you ok? You don't look like you're from around here," she said to me, relaxing me a bit
"My name is Ada Shelby," She introduced to herself 'Whats your name?" she asked politely

I didn't want her to know it was me, so I just told her that I'm not comfortable sharing my name, and she understood surprisingly.
"Um, sorry to be a bother-" I started to say, but she quickly interrupted, saying

"Oh no, bother at all. Do you need help finding someone?"

"Um, yes, do you know where I can find polly Gray?" I asked with my head down. At this point, Queenie was getting restless and started to get a bit moody.
"Calm down, Queenie, sorry she gets a bit overwhelmed,"

"I know someone who owns a Dock but he looks after horses, do you want me to walk you down there to let her get settled because by the looks of it, your going g to be staying for a while" she suggested and I took her up on her offer.

Time skip:

Ada said her uncle Charlie owns this dock and takes really good care of horses, which is good because I have been travelling all night and Queenie need sto do food and water

"Give me a second while I go talk to Uncle Charlie about letting your beauty of a horse stay here," she told me as I stayed glued to the spot as she walked off.
Charlie wa stood to the side but he wasn't alone, he was with a man in a long black coat, a suit and a flap cap which I swore I saw glisten but I pushed that thought aside as he looks in my direction and we locked eyes and then suddenly it was like the whole world stop spinning.

I looked away when Ada started walking my way. "He said Queenie can stay her for as long as she likes" she said smiling like crazy, "Curly, come get our new guest some hay and water" she called for a man as he ran over a took Queenie after I said my goodbyes promising to come back tomorrow to see her.

Another time skip:

We walked down the streets of small heath once again as Ada said "sorry who were you looking for earlier?" She questioned.
