Chapter 2
I knew I only had one option at this point. If I wanted to turn the wheel of fate, I would have to feign a distraction. A helpful Lala stood just feet away from me. "Distract it." I whispered in a most confident whisper. Sun baby's smile spread larger than ever. I turned back to Lala and mouthed the same words once again. I knew I was asking Lala to put its life on the line, but it was my last chance.
Lala's POV
The baby like shape of Po's face along with the lack of elasticity in its mouth made it near impossible to make out what it was saying. "Distrusted" Po mouthed. I knew we didn't trust sun baby. Po was always one to disobey the commands of the voice trumpets but why would it bring this up now! Unable to move, I watched as sun baby cast its horror inducing rays of light over Po and the two disappeared. Finally it hit me. "Distract it."
