"Fuck," I groaned when I woke up.

I turned my head to my right and saw Daryl sat next to me. He had a tube attached to his arm and the other end attached to mine.

"Daryl?" I looked at him and spoke in a slightly tired voice.

"Hey," Daryl spoke softly.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I'm sorry. You got in the way when we were hunting so I accidentally shot you. I'm so sorry," Daryl apologised.

"And you're giving me your blood?" I grinned.

"Ye," Daryl nodded.

"Have I been out for long?" I asked.

"Maybe like 5 hours," Daryl shrugged, "I didn't want to leave you here alone."

"Thank you, Daryl," I took his hand.

After a few days when I could finally leave the bed, I went to find Daryl. I walked out the house and went to the fire where he was with the others.

"Hey Sunshine," Daryl stood up.

"Can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Sure," Daryl followed me.

When we were out of sight of the other's I kissed Daryl. He seemed shocked at first but then held my neck gently and kissed back.

"Thank you," I grinned.

"For what?" Daryl asked.

"Everything," I smiled, and he smiled back at me.
