I watch the sunset, as the time flies
And it leaves me wondering
How many evenings I have left in this world
How many years, months, days left to seize
How many jokes to tell, smiles to share, hearts to break
How many tears to cry, things to try, movies to watch
Over and overIt leaves me wondering
Will I get old, watching wrinkles appear on my forehead
Joints aching after carrying so many memories
Or will I go as a duckling
Barely starting to truly live
It leaves me wondering
How it's just all a mystery
Written somewhere in the stars above usI watch the sunset, as the time flies
And it leaves me knowing
I wouldn't want it any other way
