Nene X Reader Fluff

(ignore the fact that I'm a bit rusty at writing rn sorry if it seems rushed)

You and Nene first met at a funfair nearby school. It was a crowded place filled with sounds of chaotic screaming and loud talking, you could even hear the rifle guns from far away. What caught your eye was that there was a girl covering her ears to block those horrific sounds. She had noticed you and stared blatantly for a minute before you approached her and offered her your headphones. She was hesitant at first but slowly reached out to grab them. The sounds grew louder and could practically hypnotise you into growing mad. She cautiously took them and placed them on her head and you gave her your phone so she could check your playlist. You hadn't played any music yet instead you decided to talk to her.

" hey what's your name?"

".."

" i promise I don't have bad intentions i honestly wanted to help you. These are noise cancelling headphones."

"N"

"sorry what was that i didn't hear you?"

"my name is nene thank you for your headphones" she exclaimed shyly.

" oh no worries my name is ..."

"isn't that the artist called ..."

" wait a minute you listen to that artist to. that's insane! i love their songs so much" you said.

This was the moment where you two started to express your opinions and feelings for the album you had previously showed Nene. Her eyes had grown more brighter and she clicked on your music playlist so she could listen to the song. You smiled at her and sat besides her to make sure she wasn't overstimulated by the sounds from the funfair anymore. A few songs later she calms down and takes the headphones off.

"thank you again. I'm not good at talking."

" it's honestly okay id like to be your friend nene"

" you want to be my friend?"

"yes actually I approached you because I recognised you from one of the shows you do with wonderlands x showtime"

Her face had gone red as she turned her head the other way and mumbled under her breath. "that's so embarrassing"

Pretending you didn't hear what she said you gave her a minute to recompose herself before asking for her number. She gave you her number and you asked her why she came to such a loud place if she didn't like crowds.

" i came with my friends but I couldn't find them again. Then I just couldn't take it anymore and sat here for a while to calm down."

" I'm sorry you felt this way" you placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a smile. "I'm glad I met you. You seem really cool. Hopefully I didn't come off weird I seriously had good intentions nene" you plead. She let out a slight giggle and let out a small smile.

"no you helped me."

You grabbed her hand boldly.

"may I help you find your friends? That way you are not by yourself in such a loud area."

She firmly gripped your hand and nodded. You both started to walk together. Each steps you took matched hers and you couldn't help but notice how she seemed to be blushing.
