Monsters

I've heard that monsters lurk in the dark,

but I've found that when the darkness fades and

the sun comes out; the light is blinding and

the sounds are too loud.

When the sun is up and the world wakes up,

that's when my anxiety strikes, and all of

my fears come alive.

If monsters lurk in the dark, then what of those

creatures, that rise with the sun?

Those are the monsters I fear. So, let me wait for the darkness;

it comforts me.
