Naway's p.o.v I woke up amongst my family with a smile upon my face. I climbed out of the pile of us carefully doing my best not to wake anyone up. ''Naway'' My brother Tioang hissed in annoyance as I accidentally stepped on his tail. ''I'm sorry'' I mumble as my ears pin back against my head.
He just groaned in response as he fell back asleep. I huffed and walked out of our hut quietly. At the moment no one in my clan was awake. It was still dark out, the only light being the bioluminescents of the plants and moss that grew upon the mountains of which my clan resided.
I walked away from all the huts and made sure I was far enough. I made a call to my Ikran, Azay. I waited for a minute before the cries of her could be heard. A smile made it's way upon my face as she landed beside me. ''Tam tam Azay, Ma'wey'' I quietly say as I softly stroke her head leaning my forehead against hers.

She quiets down making me smile. I connect our ques together making tsaheylu before quickly climbing onto her back and setting off to fly. I cheer making Azay screech in delight. I pat her as we fly around the mountains and dive down.
(One Hour later)
As the sun rises and light once again meets the sky, I head back to my clan. As azay and I get closer to our home it looks like we have visitors. I look in curiosity as Azay slows down. We land on the ground and many are looking at me. ''Naway where have you been?'' my mother Alira asks in a stern tone as she walks closer to me.
My ears pin back as I look at my mother confused. I jump off of Azay and disconnect our cues before sending her off. ''I always go for morning rides mother, you know this'' I say in the most respectful way I can. ''Don't you remember what I talked about last night'' my mother says walking closer to me.
I look at her confused as if letting her know I have no idea what she is talking about. ''Eywa help me, you are just like your father Naway'' She sighs as she pats my shoulder signaling me to follow her into our home.
''Toruk Makto, and his son are here'' my mother whispers as we get closer to our hut. ''Why'' I whisper back looking at her with furrowed brow. Before my mother can answer we are both in the hut. I am faced with Toruk Makto, a boy who I assume is his son, and my father Tsu'mong the Olo'eyktan of my clan.
''Ah daughter'' my father smiles at me motioning for me to come closer to the three of them. ''Father'' I say as I do the sign for oel ngati kameie. ''Kaltxi, Toruk Makto'' I say doing the same sign of respect towards him before mother pushes me so I am standing between her and my father. ''Kaltxi, Naway'' Toruk Makto smiles at me while the boy stands on the side of him with a stoic expression on his face.
