Part 4 - The change

* 2 whole years has passed since sarahs
death, family members, friends and others
around the neighborhood started
comforting Sean and Jaelyn. After the death
of  Sarah Rainford.
Lexi and Sean got married.
They are now happy and are forgetting about Sarah. Jaelyn is a complete mess. He feels worthless without hes mother. Also after the death Sean got an alcohol addiction, Sean started being way more abusive to Jaelyn and Lexi then before. *

Jaelyns POV:

My dad is an alcoholic mess. Lucky I have Nisa. She has been with me the whole time.

Every since my mother died she has just been with me ever since.

Its Valentines Day in 12 hours from now. And I know exactly what im going to get her.

A diamond necklace, i've been saving up money ever since my mom died so I can go to college because my father wont pay for it.

And I've saved enough for college as well as that necklace, seriously hope she likes it.

Jaelyn's POV:

TODAY IS THE DAY!!

Im getting Nisa that necklace even if its the last thing I ever do on earth.

I went over to my room to collect the money, but it was gone..

Where did my money go? Who the fuck took it? Anger and rage Started increasing in me.

I went downstairs quicker than I thought I could. I didnt even bother checking upstairs for my money.

I got downstairs and I saw dad counting it up.

" 400, 500, 600.."
He said still counting by 100s.

" Thats my money you..drunk fuck."
I said knowing he might beat the absolute shit out of me.

My heart started beating, fast.

" 3400, 3500 excuse me?"
He said while getting up.

He started walking towards me. Slow, and steady, like he was waiting for this day.

He took the cigarette out of hes mouth, and spoke to me.

" I dont know who you think you are but, you better cut it the fuck out because i aint liking it too much.."
He said as he was leaning forward into my face.

I dont think I was ever so scare of him and i've never shown it.

My whole world went silent until my thought was broken.

" HEY. YOU GOT THAT? "
he said yelling at me, which got Lexi to come downstairs to see what was going on in her new home.

" Hey what's happening down here. "

Lexi said, carefully after finding out how abusive Sean can be.

" Lexi what the FUCK did I tell you. Come down here one more time I will beat the absolute shit out of you too."

He said, glaring at Lexi and I.

He was still holding the cigarette. He came closer to me, held my hand and placed it on my rough hands.

Burning me.

I didnt scream tho. I didnt want to seem like a baby to him. Not again atleast.

After that Lexi sneeked upstairs quickly and quietly.

I just went up to my room and started texting Nisa.

I dont know what my father was doing. Last time I saw him he was standing breathing.

* about an hour of silence *

Its been so quiet. No sound. That's why im scared.

Its just been quiet for too long, way too long. But finally I heard a sound.
