Izuna

He walked beside me as I showed him around the village. Ryuko and Inuama had taken off on their own so it was just the two of us now. His presence wasn't uncomfortable per se. I had my sword on me as did he. If either one of us made a move against the other we would be able to defend ourselves just fine.

I knew it wouldn't come to that though. We had both promised our brothers we would try to get along with each other. Our clan needed this deal to happen. The children here needed it to happen.

I could tell my fellow clansmen were still suspicious of the Senju being here. No one had ever agreed to help us before, it was only natural they would be doubtful. Heck, I was doubtful myself but I knew if anyone would be able to get it done it was Aniki. Once my brother set his mind on something he wouldn't stop until he got it done.

"It's nice, the village I mean". Tobirama spoke breaking the silence.  "Let me guess, it's not as big as your used to". I looked at him sideways. He looked ahead continuing to walk beside me. "No, but I believe that to be a good thing. A smaller village means everyone knows each other which creates a support system".

"Aren't the Senju close to each other"? "Only to the people we grow up with. Not many of us wander out and make friends, our parents don't approve of". "I'm guessing Inuama is one of those few who do"? "Mhm, I'm glad she has a friend she can rely on and trust". "I feel the same". A small smile played at his lips.

"Nii San"? Rin said as he made his way over to us. "Tobirama let me introduce you to my little brother Rin, he's a year younger than me". "Rin this is Tobirama Senju, younger brother to lord Hashirama".

"Wait, Aniki's in his meeting already? Shouldn't you be with him"? "He asked Ryuko and I to let the two of them talk in peace. I trust him to take care of things and you should as well". "Yes, Nii San". He turned to Tobirama. "It was nice meeting you". He said before leaving.

"Forgive him, out of the six of us he's the most cautious". "I wasn't offended at all. I completely understood wanting to protect a family member". He smiled. I smiled back. "How about we grab a bite to eat while we wait"? I suggested.

"Lead the way"? "Certainly".

Tobirama

I followed behind him as he led me to a cafe that seemed to be packed full of people. "This place is always busy". He said smiling. The outside was a medium-sized square building with white walls and a blue roof. The windows were freshly washed and the plants that decorated the outside were well taken care of just like the ones at his house.

I could tell they weren't fake from the scent they gave off. They did well to compliment the outdoor patio furniture. Once we were inside I took notice to the light blue walls and hardwood floors. The seats were scattered out so they would be close to each other but not too close as to give each table their privacy.

Each of the seats were decorated with a cousin on the seat and backrest providing comfort for your rear end and lower back. Each one of them looked handmade. Everywhere I looked I saw nothing but happy smiles, soft laughter, and happy conversation.

The restaurants back home were the same way but this one had more of a welcome home feel to it. A few glances came our way as we walked to the front counter but I was somewhat used to it now.

If it meant I could help my brother then I would happily spend a day with Izuna. I didn't feel uncomfortable next to him so that was a plus.

"Welcome back Izuna". A young girl with freckles going across her nose, dark brown hair, pale wheat skin, and black eyes said warmly as we approached the register. "Hey there Candace. How's work"? "The same as always, busy but fun". "That's good to hear.
